Mardi Park Turf was established by Chris and Tony Cornwell in 1983. We are a family owned and operated business and one of the longest operating turf farms on the Central Coast. We have been growing beautiful lawns for over 35 years and we've passed our expert knowledge and experience on to our team.

We cover everything from getting equipment in to clear your existing ground coverings, helping you choose the variety of turf that's best for you, laying the turf in the best way for your landscape, and fertilising your new lawn to get it growing.
All turf varieties require some level of maintenance in order to give you the best lawn possible. You may find either of our Buffalo varieties - Palmetto or Sapphire - easier to maintain. Once established, they are more tolerant to shade and drought, they have a great colour all year round, and a beautiful soft-leaf texture.
Choose the type of turf that's right for you from our premium organic turf varieties, including: Couch, Empire Zoysia, Kikuyu, Palmetto, Sapphire and more. Sapphire Soft Leaf Buffalo turf is the most shade tolerant Buffalo grass in Australia. It's fast-growing and recovers quickly from wear, has excellent winter colour, and has a deep root system.
The amount of preparation required will vary from site to site, but the more preparation, the better your lawn can grow. And remember, we can help you at every step of the way. The first thing that needs to happen is clearing all existing lawn, weeds, rocks and debris from your chosen turf site. If you're going to spray for weeds, we recommend spraying no less than 14 days before laying your new turf.

Mardi Park Turf made a delivery while I was away. They left me 40m2 of turf without soil or roots attached. About 50% of the turf died within 2 weeks. It basically must rot before I can re-grow. When you ordering from them be sure you are on site inspecting the delivery before they dump it. Writing them an email asking for help does not produce a response.
