Concord Engineering specialises in the manufacture and application of abrasion resistant materials and protective coating systems for use in mining, refining and general industry. All aspects of our design, production and service work are controlled through our well maintained ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Concord Polyurethane Lined Steel Pipe is widely used in slurry transfer to combat wear and corrosion. We use high grade elastomers and innovative systems that deliver superior results. At Concord we help solve client wear issues by working with them on selecting the best materials and improved design for parts and equipment.
Concord Ceramics offer a unique combination of hardness, extremely high abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, low co-efficient of friction and strength. Concord's involvement with ceramics is focused on prolonging service life of parts and equipment. High performance ceramics will outlast and outperform steels and alloys by as much as 40 times with significant weight and cost savings.
Concord Slurry Pipe is carbon steel - polyurethane lined for use in highly abrasive slurry and chemical applications. The internal polyurethane lining is bonded directly to carbon steel pipe to produce an internal wear resistant lining that is smooth and seamless. Flange gaskets are cast as part of the lining process.
Concord have been manufacturing polyurethane in Australia for over 45 years and in that time have developed a range of polyurethane parts used in mining. Components manufactured in polyurethane are distinctive with respect to abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, elasticity and impact resistance making Polyurethane an ideal material for high wear areas such as wear liners and protective lining systems.
