Honest and compassionate. Didn't rush me and told it how it is. Explained what was wrong and more than once because I was in shock and explained how my beloved dog was feeling. Reception staff was understanding and compassionate too. Felt like they really knew there stuff which is so important when your loved one is sick. Thank you Blue Lake Vets

Love this vet. Everyone is so nice, from the receptionists to the vets themselves! They explain everything step by step, even simple injections and procedures which is nice when you feel nervous.
They talk to your animals like we do haha and they make you feel so welcome every time.
Best vets in Mount Gambier by far.
Thank you all! Beth, Aimee and Mylo the cat

Highly highly recommend. The care and kindness that all staff show to me and my pups is wonderful. As well as taking care of all the normal vet things, they have gone above and beyond to make sure my very sick pup was referred to the right specialist for open heart surgery. She is now a healthy and very active pup. The fact that both pups are both happy to attend Blue Lake Vets despite speying, surgicsurgictreatmenta l follow up, treatment for ingesting a mushroom etc, shows how truly lovely the staff are!!

We had an emergency out of hours situation with our 5-6wk old kitten. Our vet Sophie was amazing. Sophie remained calm and took our details and put me at ease. We were 1 hr away and very concerned for our baby. The consult was professional, thorough and caring. We are changing from our usual vet to Blue Lake after our experience.

We called up first thing in the morning to make an appointment. We are travelling full time. Our dog had a skin tag that had been bleeding and needed to be removed. The receptionist i spoke to was so lovely and got us in asap. Every staff member we came in contact with was so friendly. The building was clean and new and very well looked after. Even mopped when we came back later in the day!
When we met Caroline the vet, she really listened to our concerns, got a great perception of our boys history. She took into account the fact we were travelling and booked him in for a quick surgery that afternoon
