Our aim is to teach karate in an effective manner within a safe environment. We offer several programs to suit students from as young as 3.5yrs to the more mature adult. Our classes are broken down into age and skill level. We also offer family mat time where mums and dads can train alongside with their children every Friday night.
The centre is run and operated by ourselves, along with our two sons, Dylan and Josh. We pride ourselves on offering our students clean and safe training facilities. Our centre is equipped with central heating and cooling and consists of a fully matted training area, male and female change rooms, warm-up room and a viewing area for parents to sit back and watch their children train.

As a child growing up in Brazil, l'd always wanted to learn karate, but my parents enrolled me in swimming instead to help with my Asthma, and karate was put on the backburner. Even so, the yearning to learn karate never left me. The years quickly passed and before you know it, l had married, migrated to Australia and had kids of my own.
Parents are more than welcome to come into the class and participate alongside their little one. Value is put on "giving things a go" and perseverance. Our Kinda program engages children in age appropriate activities; promotes early socializing skills and physical activity. Children also learn to follow instructions, develop their listening skills and work on their concentration and co-ordination in readiness for primary school.
Our Teens and Adults program is delivered in a way that not only gives our students a sound understanding of karate, but sees their fitness and endurance tested. The classes are geared for the mature student which sees self-defense as a focal point. Each belt level sees students faced with new challenges.
We offer programs for children as young as 3yrs of age; which is our Mini Dragons classes, all the way to mature adult. It is never too early or too late to start karate. Our Mini Dragons classes are once a week, as is our Kinda Classes. Students (6yrs & above) are recommended to attend two classes a week.

This is my favourite Karate Academy in the area, i have tried few others around Pakenham and was not happy, jad not a single issue since we moved to Pakenham Karate, my son and daughter are quite happy, Dalila and Alex, and their two lovely boys, are the best, they are so good at what they do, so friendly that the atmosphere there feels like home, well organised amd always neat and tidy, cannot recommend them enough.
Our experience has been fantastic, thank you team Pakenham Karate 🥋 👌😍.
