Beyond Sessions are ideal for babies 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months of age. We call them Beyond Sessions because they are suitable for babies "beyond" the newborn age (12 weeks right up to 12months)! Zash Photography Beyond Sessions are all about capturing smiles and cheeky personalities!

Katrina specialises in Maternity and Newborn fine art photography, set within a private studio. Katrina's absolute professionalism and many years of experience (14+years!) Based on the south side of Brisbane, the Zash Photography Studio welcomes Bellies and Babies from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast - and sometimes beyond!

Not only is your photography exceptional but everything from responding so quickly to emails and having clear and transparent pricing and packages, to bringing an umbrella out to me in my car, handling our newborn baby with such care and love, and your friendly and warm nature, made the whole experience so relaxed and enjoyable.
Maternity Photography is ideal between 32 & 37 weeks of pregnancy (but best booked as early as possible!). There is always lots of fun and laughter during these sessions, and the images we capture are modern, stunning, artistic and.irreplaceable. Maternity Sessions can be just for the mum-to-be, OR the whole family can come and join in on the fun!
These sessions are booked based on your baby's due date, with an actual session date allocated once your baby is born. By booking a Newborn Session in advance (early in your pregnancy where possible), you will secure a session within the first 2 weeks of birth (unless otherwise requested) - even if your baby is born earlier or later than expected.

Absolutely love her!!!
We first went to her in 2020 before Covid for a maternity shoot and it was amazing. I don't consider myself to be photogenic and neither does my husband but with her guidance we were able to take amazing pictures. Honestly I couldn't believe the results.
In Addition to the already great pictures, I had expressed I was going to use the photos for my baby shower that was themed wild safari and she was able to add a lion / a giraffe into the background in some of my photos... It came out amazing! The point that she was able to do that for us exceeded my expectations.

Zai is exceptional! From making us feel comfortable, to making the shoot extremely fun. Zai is absolutely amazing. She definitely knows how to capture the moment and she’s so creative. The final photos are jaw dropping ( in a great way). My husband and I absolutely love working with Zai. We ordered prints and they are just as beautiful as the softball photos. We were definitely impressed by the quality of the prints. We highly recommend Zai. You won’t regret it. This wasn’t our first shoot with Zai and it won’t be our last.

I was looking for a photographer who has a studio and a friend recommended I reach out to Zai. I was nervous due to Covid. But I was not disappoint. She followed cdc guidelines and wore a mask the whole time. My son's pictures came out amazing and she captured him smiling. Big plus!! She was super nice and very creative. I don’t have enough words to describe how exceptional Zai is at capturing the most stunning photographs! Every time we’ve shot together, my experience has been nothing short of fun!
