The Conveyancing team at Legal Solutions are friendly and experienced lawyers and conveyancing clerks, who will work for you to ensure your sale or purchase runs smoothly. As we are a law firm, if legal issues arise at any point during the transaction, we have the resources and knowledge to resolve those issues, including where necessary, representing your interests in Court.
If you are borrowing money from a lender, you only have the time provided in the Contract to obtain unconditional approval. You should take a copy of your signed Contract to your banker or broker as soon as possible. As soon as you sign the Contract, telephone your insurer and obtain a cover note on the property.
Do not let your insurance lapse prior to settlement, as you are liable for any damage to the property until settlement has completed. You are required by law to change the address on your driver's licence and the Electoral Role as soon as you move! If you notify the Department of Transport, they can update your address on your vehicle registration.

I rang early last week and booked an appointment for the 16th to get Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship papers done. I received a call early on the 16th at 8.30am telling me if I would mind if they could cancel my appointment as some urgent business needed attending to.
