OzSkinScan Skin Cancer Clinic is a private billing practice. Our fees are determined by the Australian Medical Association recommended rates and reflect the technology adapted. Skin Excisions: Final fee is based on the size, anatomical location and the complexity of the procedure.

At OzSkinScan we offer full body skin cancer check/scan using advanced technology of digital dermoscopy.
During your Skin Cancer Check Consultation, which usually lasts for about 15-20 minutes, Dr Gabriel Poboran will carefully examine any lesions you are concerned about and perform a full body skin check using digital HD MoleMax Dermoscopy System. This system enables your doctor to examine the skin using polarized light and magnification to detect changes to skin not visible to the naked eye.
If you have been diagnosed with skin cancer through histopathological examination (skin biopsy), the best (gold standard) treatment is excision of the skin cancer with adequate clear margins. Depending on the size and anatomical location most skin cancers can be excised as an office procedure under local anaesthetics.
