Our industry trained operators use the latest CNC mandrel bending machines to fashion highly accurate bends to customer specifications.
Platen type superheaters often require use of squeezed bends on the inner most loops of the superheater. To achieve this tube bends are made to a larger radius then hot squeezed down to the required centre to centre distance. Uneek ensure that all our boiler tube bends meet the critical requirements of Australian standard AS1228 and AS4458, in particular the requirements of ovality and thinning of boiler tube bends.
Helical coils are frequently used for heating or cooling product in processing plant tanks and vessels. Tube coils provide an economical and straightforward method of obtaining heat transfer surface area. Tube coils are made by rolling lengths of tubing into helixes or double helixes in which the inlet and outlet are located side by side.
