The ambience in the restaurant was nice, and the service was friendly as well. The bread was good, also. As for the entrees, my wife likes the taste of hers, but my dish was very sour, more than a piccata usually is. I didn't finish my meal, which says something because the portion sizes were pretty small for the money. I might be open to giving it a second chance, if I got a different dish, depending on the price.

Had a delicious meal last night (12/22). Our confirmed reservation was not on the list, but luckily we were early enough so they could seat us. We were surprised that those at the front desk and some of the servers were NOT wearing masks, which we thought were required. Ashley, our fantastic server, was so that made us more comfortable.

My wife and I love this place. Food is excellent and service is excellent. Kristen is our favorite waitress. She always very personable, has a positive attitude and is very attentive. This is the best family owned restaurant in Raleigh to give you the hometown feel. Anyone from NJ, NY or MA will appreciate the atmosphere of the local Mom & Pop Italian Restaurant that makes you feel like you are family

We had a fam group of 10 for supper. Waitress was very friendly and was on top of the table at all the right times. Food was very good. One of the few times this many people sat down and all were satisfied! Great atmosphere and decor. The wait staff was excellent can't say that enough. We'll be back as the fam gets together annually at least and definitely all agreed we'd meet up here again. Recommended AAA+++

I was taken to Casa Carbone on my first date with my now husband; after more dates he proposed there; then we, of course, had our wedding reception and, at least each year we go for our anniversary. Last night we went for our 18th anniversary. We have always had fantastic food. We have tried many different dishes and they are all great. Sometimes hard to narrow down what to get. Mike , the owner, is always there and makes us feel welcome each and every time. Definitely the place to go for great Italian food.

I was just there with my family for my grandparents anniversary. The service was great but I had some leftovers. I went to eat it later found a press on nail in my food. I decided to give a call to the restaurant to let them know what had happened. I was hit with denial and a sense of not a care in the world. My family and I have been coming to this establishment for years. I saddens me to see were there loyalty for their patrons is! We will definitely not be returning ever again!

I cannot say enough great things about this place! I find it very personable that the owner checks you out and ensures that you got the meal and service you wanted. The staff are all super friendly and prompt with service. Their food is always very fresh and hot without failure! The portions are extremely generous enough for the hungriest in my opinion! I could go on and on but I think I’m just going to finish this amazing food! Keep up the great work guys!

Thoroughly enjoyed the cooking school. Matteo shared his expertise and experience with a great sense of fun and passion for simple delicious food. The food we cooked, flat bread filled with rainbow chard and curd, pumpkin ravioli with sage butter , gnocchi with pork ragout finished off with a panacotta, wine was and coffees. Thank you Matteo and Fiona.

A wonderful 4 hour experience & a day we’ll never forget! COVID ruined our chance of a cooking class in Tuscany last year but after discovering & attending Matteo’s cooking class last week, it was as though we were there! Matteo & Fiona provide an authentic Italian experience in the heart of their own restaurant’s kitchen. Matteo patiently &… humorously demonstrated & guided us through the meticulous, hands-on preparation of 4 delicious courses from start to finish including: a baked zucchini flan; the lightest, fluffiest potato gnocchi you’ll
