I don't understand how they've managed to have such great reviews?
The sales team are perfect, but once the sale has gone through, it's slack response times and a lack of accountability for internal oversights.
They failed to communicate for 5 days, resulting in a total reschedule.
They can't provide a pickup window smaller than 24 hours.
My scheduled pickup was canceled with just 24 hours notice!!
They couldn't even organise insurance properly, cancelling a policy before it even began.
I've had to repeat myself countless times and at the point of seeking to cancel and get a refund, they

Removal service was reasonable but storage service unbelievably bad. Two antique items emerged with serious damage – feet broken off, mirror detached, timber split in several places. It looked like another large item had been dropped on top. They might as well have taken an axe to it. Repairs are costing us $2000. To add insult to injury, the company has continued to invoice us for storage costs months after the storage period has finished!

Do not use this company. My partner and I had several items stolen in our international move and we are currently seeking legal advice through the Australian Complaints and Consumer Commission (ACCC) in regards to Palmers appaling service. We are both teachers and we frequently relocate to fulfill international teaching roles. We have used several moving companies in the past, this was our first time using Palmers Relocations and we would strongly reccomend you do not entrust them with your belongings. Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
The team who packed and uplifted our home contents did a fabulous job and we felt that they both took great care with what they did but were also respectful of our belongings. We would highly recommend Palmers Relocations and would certainly use them again.

We chose this company because relocating from Sydney to Cairns was a bit like moving internationally. We had no idea how true that would become due to the pandemic and incompetent governments. Palmers managed to meet every single need within 24 hours of the original schedule, even as the rules for their business were changing by the day and borders were slamming shut. They managed to follow the rules and get us moved from Point A to Point B. I hope they survive the pandemic.

We found Palmers Relocations to be, what we believe, business's who provide a service should aspire to be. Friendly and very helpful staff, Tara was a delight, nothing was a problem. I believe PR to be a genuine and caring company that really does put the customer as their No 1 priority. On the day of removal the boys were so good, again, nothing was a problem, job done. We definately will not hesitate to use Palmers Relocations again. Thank you to all the staff that we had contact with.

Palmers managed the domestic portion of our international move. Derek Hutchison was a pleasure to deal with - he was very responsive, clear in his communication and went out of his way to ensure Palmers were meeting our expectations. On the move day itself, Shane and her crew were excellent. We had 270 boxes to unload and the 4 men did it with care and in a very timely manner. They helped set up our bigger items and nothing was too much trouble. Palmers is definitely one of better relocation and removal companies we have used and we have used a few over the years! I would highly recommend them
