Richard Robertson, the name and creative powerhouse behind Richard Robertson Landscapes, (RRL) was born and raised in Sorrento and has made the Mornington Peninsula his home ever since. He not only loves the area but knows it intimately. He started Richard Robertson Landscapes in 1998, which gives him over 30 years of local landscaping experience.
And his portfolio can be seen any day of the week between Blairgowrie and Portsea. There's a good chance that any one of the fantastic gardens you see on the Peninsula have probably been designed, constructed or inspired by Richard. At the 2014 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show Richard Robertson Landscapes constructed the Award winning James Ross 'Peninsula' exhibition.

Services
Many businesses are severely impacted and our easy, carefree way of life is changing daily. At this stage our services remain unchanged. Unless advised by our Government to change our day to day operations, we will be doing our best to continue building our landscapes and creating beautiful home environments.
Creating a beautiful landscape involves a lot more than shoving a few pansies in a pot, or even having a nice lawn. It takes an innate sense of what the garden itself needs in order to display its full glory. An eye for what will bring out the splendour of the architecture that it surrounds. And an acute knowledge of what the location, the weather and the soil can sustain, as well as what will suit your needs best and is a true reflection of you.
Even though their purpose is functional, retaining walls also form an important part of landscape design. They are deliberately created for aesthetic effect. They become the building blocks around which your garden landscape is swathed and can be used to create different levels in the garden. Beautiful design can turn your retaining walls into an exciting feature.
Most gardens these days are constructed in a series of 'outdoor rooms' linked together by pathways. But even if your garden is simply a vast stretch of luscious lawn on which to play cricket, croquet or badminton with the family in the evenings and over the weekend with friends at a barbeque, it will benefit from having a beautiful pathway connecting it to the house.
