We are a small, two person operation delivering quality floor sanding services throughout Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. I (Clint) have been in business since 1988. My wife, the beautiful Lisa-Jane has been working with me since 1998 - in-between bearing and raising our children. Repairing old floors is a specialised field of carpentry and one I'm very pleased to offer.
It helps solve many of the problems that can arise when renovating old homes. This is the mainstay of any floor sanding company. Over the years we've seen, and been a part of many of the great changes and improvements our industry has enjoyed. Constant innovation has kept us fresh, keen and eager to work.

Services
Sadly, we can't take on every floor sanding job that comes across our desk, mainly due to timing and availability. Often times, the dates that you might have in mind for having your floors sanded may already be taken by someone else, and generally the next question is. The following are some of the finer floor sanders I know, who's work and work ethic is top notch.
Floor Sanders throughout Australia are blessed to be able to work with some of the most amazing timbers in the world. The indigenous Australian trees produce Tasmanian Oak, Victorian Ash, Ironbark, Spotted Gum and Jarrah just to name a few across the colour spectrum. To compliment the various hardwood species we also have an assortment of Pine flooring from Baltic Pine, Radiata Pine and Cypress Pine.
This Tasmanian Oak floor in Frankston South is one of the most amazing transformations my wife and I have ever done. The floor was rough, very rough.
The home is 70 odd years old and features floor boards up to 5 metres in length throughout, which is something you'll never see in todays newer homes due to newer floors being harvested from plantation grown and sustainable forests and the trees don't get to mature into the giants they were 70 years ago.Throughout the years the home had gone through a few various renovations, all kinda' stacked on top of each other.

This is a direct stick Tasmanian Oak floor, where, as such, the boards have been glued directly to the concrete slab during the building of the house. This sort of flooring gives you a terrific, solid feel under foot, without any noise when little feet are running here 'n' there, that's always a good thing.
This Tasmanian Oak floor is typical of what can be found in some of the older homes around Frankston South. The boards have always had carpet on them for the past 60 odd years and are therefore in excellent condition with only a few small issues to contend with.
The main issue was that over the years these floorboards must have creaked horribly and someone in their attempt to fix it has actually belted the living daylights out of them as they drove rather long-arsed nails into the boards. With unbridled hammering enthusiasm they've managed to put some amazing looking dents in the floor right there in the lounge room, visible to anyone who walks in the front door.

Clint and Lisa are an amazing team who showed our old house such love and respect. Her floor boards were a mixed bag, some fabulous others very poor. They managed to blend the two so that the end result looked cohesive and as one. Thank you for your patience and care with our old girl as we know she gave you a few issues. We would definitely recommend Clint and Lisa to restore any timber floor.
