Due to the ageing process, weight gain or loss and bone resorption your dentures may feel loose & cause ulcers. A partial denture is constructed to replace missing teeth for aesthetics and support of remaining teeth.

The bone that supports your dentures is constantly remodeled by the body once the teeth have been lost.
Partial dentures are used to replace one or more missing natural teeth and are designed to your individual needs. It is possible to have either a Chrome (metal denture) or an acrylic denture based on your individual needs a consultation with Chris would be required to see what would be best suited to you.
Professionally fitted mouthguards greatly reduce the chances of damage to teeth, lips and mouth and assist in giving the best possible protection. Mouthguards also assist to absorb impact which can cause a broken jaw and concussion. At Dentures Plus we construct and custom fit mouthguards for both adults and children.
An immediate denture is placed in the mouth immediately after teeth have been extracted. It provides both function and aesthetics. At Dentures Plus we are able to construct a denture prior to dental extractions and have it ready for you to take to your preferred dentist for your appointment. Due to the healing process and bone resorption over time the denture will become loose.

Am very happy with my new dentures. Chris is a wonderful dental technician, he is very competent, and he did a wonderful job identifying the problems I had, and then making me a new set of teeth that are just perfect, both in looks and in functionality. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome, and would highly recommend Chris Hewitson to anyone wanting new dentures.
