Spanish restaurant in a nice decor.
All tapas dishes are enough to serve four people, so we chose a wide selection, followed by a seafood paella. Add a pitcher of sangria to that, and it felt we were in Spain. Stand outs were the grilled sardines, patatas al aoili, lamb skewers and mushroom croquettes.
Good service completed an enjoyable night out.

Worst food ever. Meat platter was overcooked, seafood platter was undercooked. My mates meal was finished by the time mine arrived. Advertised as grilled barramundi, still was fried. the salad was a bowl full of balsamic with a side of leaves. the food that you served up last night. pathetic. Not even a big reviewer but this was a joke. I am still not over how bad can someone cook and still charge $32 a meal. I am sure the girl serving wouldn't disagree with a lot.

Very unfortunate experience. They forgot to bring one out of six tapas that we ordered, and one tapas (the chicken croquettes) had a hair inside!). When I told the waitress about it, she did not care or apologise and she took my plate away like I suggested and and did not bring a plate back for me to eat! The rest of the 5 tapas were below average. They felt reheated and had absolutely no taste. The patatas bravas were just plain and the meatballs felt microwave (meat cold, sauce hot!).

Fabulous meal and night out. Ordered the $55 pp meal with bottomless sangrias, 4 tapas and paella. Got the chicken and chorizo paella which was so delicious and flavoursome. The tapas we got were garlic prawns, ham croquettes, Calamari and meatballs. Would get all these again except the garlic prawns as they weren't that garlicky and lacked seasoning. Great entertainment and we would definitely be back!

Chicken and Seafood Mixed Paella dish was a fail. From get go, the rice tasted bland and there was minimal seafood, or chicken pieces in the pan. No flavour throughout. Perfectly sized for 2 or 4 persons, depending on your selection. Unfortunately, taste was very disappointing.
Tapas menu is great! Very good for mixed tapas options. They offer vegetarian options, for those who wish to dabble in tapas, other than (red and white) meats, or seafoods.
Red Wine Sangria was good. Go for the 1 litre size. It will go quickly over dinner. Time flies.
Large sized venue. Beyond the front door of the restaurant

Wow what a treat! Had endless sangria with series of tapas dishes (shrimp, potato, meatball, chorizo, salad, paella) and to top it off, there was a flamango show. All for $55 per person for the set menu, such a great value. Some years back, when I went for the first time it was costly for two people.

Terrible service, waited 30 min to order and after 2 hours we haven't received 2 of the 4 tapas ordered(we then had to take it away). we had 30% The Fork discount and the staff refused to accept it on the end of the dinner after unknowledge of it at our arrival. Paella was ok the rest and service obscene.

We also dined via a Groupon. Food is freshly prepared so the wait is a little longer for paella but we ordered a few different types of breads on offer to Noah on while we waited. The 4 person paella fed 3 grown gents and the two person veggie paella fed two ladies beautifully.
It was a rather warm evening and we were sitting in an area with terrible ventilation. Too hot... definitely need to invest in some good fans.
The staff were average... not too friendly .
I love the food so would definitely visit again on a Groupon deal .

I bought a Groupon for Spanish Tapas and the process of booking was very smooth. Arrived with a group of friends on a Sunday night and pretty much all the other customers were also dining through Groupon as well. Despite this, all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered some of the cocktails (all reasonably priced) and a half litre of Sangria, paella (which we were informed would be about half an hour wait) and a few other tapas nibbles. The food was prompt, delicious and there was more than enough to go around. They also have a diverse pizza menu, with a giant pizza oven and

We had lunch here last weekend and almost walked out again as there was nobody there and that can't be a good sign. I'm glad we stayed, the service was good and the tapas plates we ordered were very nice. It wasn't exactly cheap but tapas usually never is in Sydney. I would definitely go again and will recommend to friends.

Yeah, no.
Ambiance: v rustic, homey, comfortable. Makes you want to be there all night drinking sangria and munching chorizo.
Service: v attentive and helpful.
Food and drink: they are tempting punters with the promise of a $30 per person special of salad, bread and 2 tapas each, plus $2 beers, glasses of wine or sangria. (Note: they limit you to 2 bevvies each at the above price, which is really very smart, seeing as two drinks in you're ready to dip further into your pockets.)
There were three of us, so we were given 6 tapas for the table. We ordered:
-pork meatballs in red sauce: very

Wow wow wow!!!!
Service was amazing!!!!
Loved this place and would come back here again just for the service. So we settle in and ready for a nice night and the waiter comes over with a free jug if sangria from a flyer we received from a lovely lady on the walk to the restaurant.
We had the $70 banquet which included 6 tapas dishes, a paella and unlimited sangria and beer for two hours for 4 people.
Great food, great company, what more could you ask for.
I loved this place and would come back here in a heart beat :)

We had seen this place fairly full and came here on a Sunday night expecting it to be a wait but it was virtually empty. It's a huge place inside and it has the feel of an old place too - if the sticky floors are anything to go by.
Waiters were very friendly and attentive - difficult not to be when it's virtually empty. We ordered a bunch of small tapas and ended up being full by the end of it so four for four was enough. A bottle of wine didn't go astray.
Reading some of the other reviews, perhaps it was the day we came that made it a bit of a so-so experience. We'd consider

After watching a Spanish episode of Rick Stein's Seafood Odyssey I had the sudden and insatiable urge to get myself some Spanish delights!
I was after more than just the typical Spanish tapas that you get at most Spanish restaurants and after having a browse online for what Sydney's Spanish restaurants had to offer we decided to give Spanish Tapas a go (I know you're probably thinking I just contradicted myself there but this place actually offers a decent selection of non-tapas Spanish dishes).
The food was fantastic (we shared some tapas, the seafood paella, the seafood stew

Attentive, friendly service, great tapas and sangria and reasonably priced. What is great about this place is the $40 per head tapas (3 plates per 2 people) and paella (plus salad and garlic bread) and even better the $55 per head menu with unlimited sangria and a heaps of tapas.
We got the paella for 4 people, and there was soo much seafood!! Really generous portions, we had prawns left over!
The desert was a bit average, the Creme Caramel was really bland, and the churros wasn't very nice.
Great place for big groups, it gets a bit noisy especially for couples but overall a nice Spanish

Sometimes atmosphere is almost as important as the food. Spanish Tapas is a place that gives the food a run for its money. With live flamenco shows on fridays and saturdays, and a lively dining room usually filled with groups of people, there is a fun atmosphere at this tapas place. And the food ain't bad either. The usual favourites such as garlic prawns and mushrooms, chorizo, potatoes in spicy tomato sauce and meatballs are all there. All washed down with jugs of sangria. Perfect!
