Services
Justice United was established by members of the Queensland legal community, who saw the need to provide legal and other support services to people in crisis. President Solicitor, Michael Goodman, and Founder lawyer Kylie Bruce, saw the need to provide people in crisis with solid and professional legal support, as well as helping people out of crisis by working with other services to assist in improving the situation.
Our services are available to anyone and some are provided pro bono, (free of charge in some cases, and reduced rates for others). Additionally we work on a fixed fee and are aware that people must still have the means to provide for their families and themselves. For more details about our fees, please contact us so we may assess your situation and discuss your options.
Michael started his legal career as an articled clerk in Sydney in 1971 at a salary of $20 per week. Because he realised that appearances were important he would appear at the old Supreme Court wearing a red vest with John & Merivale white with black stripes bell-bottoms. In those days you joined the Citizens Military Force so that if you were balloted in for Vietnam you didn't go as a grunt.
