At Moorooka Early Learning Centre we believe that all children deserve to be surrounded by a community that encourages them to develop, grow and reach their individual potential. As Educators, we are given the opportunity to be part of that community. We acknowledge the level of responsibility this imparts on us, as we directly influence and shape the young people in our care during their formative years, in collaboration with their families.
With only 34 placements available, we offer all the benefits of a small centre and form close relationships with families to share knowledge about their child's social, emotional and physical development. We believe that families are the most valuable educator's in a child's life and value their input within our centre.

Services
Moorooka Early Learning Centre is a small, family owned centre that provides quality care and education for your child in a friendly, accepting, safe and stimulating environment. We know that starting childcare or moving to a new centre can be challenging so we work closely with families to make an easy transition and have an ongoing open door policy regarding any questions or concerns that you may have.
Moorooka Early Learning Centre has been a long standing structure within the local community, providing childcare to working families since the early 1950s. It is unique in its design and operates out of a church building that has been revived to reflect a warm, caring and functional childcare centre.
Moorooka Early Learning Centre acknowledges the Yuggera people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we play and learn. Educators and children pay their respects to Elders past, present and emerging and make an ongoing commitment to authentically embedding Indigenous culture within our environment and programs.
Bachelor of Education / Graduate Certificate of Early Education/ Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Raquel stepped into the Director role in early 2015 after volunteering and assisting in the Senior Kindy program. She has a passion for play-based learning and believes that play is essential for children of all ages.
Operating out of two rooms, our educators work collaboratively to create a consistent approach to education and care across both our Junior Kindy and Senior Kindy. Our Lead Educators strive to create warm and inviting environments that inspire creativity and nurture development. Although operating from only two rooms can be viewed as a challenge, we have found that it caters well to our inclusive, multi-age approach to education.

Report
An absolutely beautiful centre - our children are wonderfully cared for by smart, creative, modern educators who value the joy of child-directed, playbased learning. Led by the inimitable Miss Raquel, our kids' early education has been elevated by the socially-conscious, always fascinating imaginings of the kids and their interests. I simply cannot recommend this centre enough.
