We take a direct, up-front approach and from commencement, we discuss and manage costs. We will discuss costs with you at the initial interview and work with you to assess the different risks, identify alternatives and discuss the legal and non-legal solutions.
Robert Bax established the firm in 1982 and is proud to be a true general practitioner, practicing in all areas and supervising all legal services. Consistent throughout his work is a commitment to direct advice and client value. Whatever the issue, Robert offers straight advice about problems, costs, time and likely outcomes - and is quick to suggest alternative approaches even if this means turning work away or lower legal fees.

Robert Bax & Associates recently acted on our behalf in the sale of a property. (Contract date to settlement being only 14 days). Under normal sale conditions this would have been tight but during COVID and a massive explosion of Real Estate sales and purchases in Queensland - this deadline seemed impossible. However Jody Connolly from Robert Bax took the deadline in her stride and commenced work immediately.
