From little things big things grow. Safety Steel Structures began life as a garage and farm shed builder and over time progressed onto building small and large industrial structures. We have been making steel buildings for over 50 years. We have grown significantly over that time as our customers sought larger, custom-made steel buildings and we have met the demand and now count amongst our clients industrial-scale customers.
The current owners - the Hartley family - acquired the business in the 1980's and built on existing technical knowledge and expertise to become major providers of steel buildings such as warehouses, specialty factories, workshops and large steel farm sheds. My new carport was less than 2 months old when the wind blew in the roller door and smashed the front of my car parked inside. Contacted the company and reported it. They have totally ignored my requests to come and look at it or fix it or warranty their product. It is 2 months now since my last contact and they are ignoring me altogether so I will explore my options with Consumer Affairs

Very disappointed with my dealing with Safety Steel. Poor customer service, slow at getting anything done, had to be pushed along the whole way. The cowboys that they use to erect shed are a disgrace. It's a shame, as the product itself is fine. Try elsewhere for domestic sheds.

I admit it has been a long, slow haul to actually see both the stable complex and the five bay garage in the final stages. Never the less, I have found the sales man to become rude, belligerent and dishonest withholding important information. Despite my request to the contrary, both sheds were manufactured and delivered at the same time. The stables were then erected but the garage was unable to be erected until the spa and pool were installed. The five bay garage roller doors, pieces and parts have been left dumped in two paddocks in the weather for now over six months! I can only hope all can

Worst Company ever. They say they will design it for you but the sheds are under-designed. Most of their structures would not comply with BCA and Australian Standards. They have got their own engineer who certifies anything. Don't get tricked by their cheap pricing, that's just the beginning. Also, they are very rude, inhuman and totally unethical. They can cause great headache, STAY AWAY.

Great customer service couldn't do enough. When the doors were delayed due to xmas break they called and spoke to us about it and discussed other options. All of my family have used this company for sheds and all are very happy. I have since recommended this company to others who have also had good experiences.
