Services

We are located on the Great Inland Way (just off the Gregory Highway) in Emerald, which is part of the sandstone wilderness area of Central Queensland. Emerald is a large, modern country town that was established in 1879 as a base for the building of the western railway. The town is named after 'Emerald Downs Hill', a lush emerald green hill located just north of town.

What a lovely peaceful place. Clean, everything you need, comfy bed, quiet sound sleep. Beautiful pool. Very friendly Manager and a few steps from the nearby Tavern and delicious food at the Capricornian Restaurant (which also has a pizza oven courtyard). Close to everything. Really enjoying Xmas at Emerald. Thank you!

Nice and central to town, but far enough off the main highway to be quiet. We found the rooms clean and inviting. Would definitely recommend. While you're there grab a feed at the Maraboon Tavern next door. You'll see what I mean when you go there ;-)

Lovely place to stay. Room was perfect. Bed was beautiful to sleep in. Very clean.
Restaurant right beside the hotel. Shops across the street.

All the goodies you would like to have. I would give it a 5 * only if there was a decent size fridge / freezer in the room. Those tiny boxes of bar fridges are no good for the travellers to freeze their much needed ice blocks for their cool boxes.We live and work in a hot climate and rely on our ice blocks to be refrosen before returning to work.

Only here for 1 night as a stop over between Gold Coast and Townsville but this place was excellent and we'll definitely come back here when we look to discover the area more. Great service and clean and comfy rooms plus 2 dining options that served up excellent meals/desserts.

Clean fresh room with lots of extras like snacks reasonably priced, fluffs towels, quality toiletries Very comfortable beds. Choice of two restaurant’s to eat. Quite in the middle of town. Dennis was wonderful and happy to help we had just travelled 800 km so that was great.
I forgot a item in my room and they are mailing it to me! Now that’s customer service! As a business person myself customer service is key! Thanks again we will be back and refer your motel to everyone who travels through Emerald.
