Group teaming up once again to deliver the South East Irrigation Scheme Stage 3 after successful completion of the Midlands Water Scheme. Client: Hydro Tasmania Year: 2011 The Lake Margaret Hydro-Electric Power Scheme was built between 1912 and 1914, and included a woodstave pipeline to connect the dam to the pressure penstock feeding the power station.

The Railway History The West Coast Wilderness Railway began operations back in 1897 as the only link between Queenstown and the port of Strahan. The railway was the only way. Integrated into the historic Theatre Royal, The Hedberg is a major creative industries and performing arts development being undertaken by the University of Tasmania with the Commonwealth and Tasmanian governments.
Sound planning is imperative to a successful project and at JMG we pride ourselves on getting it right from the start. A high level of attention is applied to detail to make sure the necessary approvals are gained as efficiently as possible. Our planning staff are highly experienced in strategic and statutory planning, site master planning, planning appeals, feasibility assessment and bushfire hazard assessment.
JMG's Civil Engineering division has been responsible for some of the most significant physical infrastructure projects in Tasmanian including dams, roads, pipelines, bridges, towers and buildings. Grant heads the Construction and Industry division by overseeing technical quality throughout a multitude of simultaneous projects.
The Mechanical Services team provides design and advisory services to clients in commercial property, industry, municipal, institutional, recreational and healthcare sectors. As Principal - Building Services, Colin is responsible for design and service standards across the JMG group.

Colin's experience extends across all aspects of mechanical engineering and primary responsibilities now extend into systems performance optimisation, design standards, Quality Management System (Manager), Contract Management, Risk Mitigation Education and Training.With 33 years in the Building Services industry, Colin's experience has been accumulated in London, Sydney, Adelaide and Vietnam.
