Sale Elderly Citizens Village is a locally managed, community-based, not-for-profit organisation with over 45 years of experience in providing quality aged care services and accommodation to the elderly in our community. Our organisation was founded in the 1970's by local Philanthropists, the Catholic Church and Sale Rotary Club.
We pride ourselves on creating a micro community within the facility, empowering our residents to lead their lives as fully as their interests and capabilities permit. There are many opportunities for our residents to connect with one another and enjoy their time together, in a supportive environment with a minimum of rules and regulations.

Services
We welcome all our residents into our community, take the stress from their shoulders and empower them to spend their time on the things that they enjoy. You can help us to continue this important work. By gifting a donation or leaving a legacy in your Will through a bequest, you will make a powerful contribution and enrich the lives of our residents for years to come.
In our Ashleigh House team we also employ maintenance, cleaning and laundry staff to keep our facilities in tip top shape for our residents. All staff must have relevant experience and have a police check which is less than three years old. Ashleigh House operates 24 hours a day throughout the year, with shifts available across a range of times, days and roles.
Ashleigh House and the Brenda Burditt Manor Dementia Wing offer a higher level of daily support and care. Our Residential Facility located at 20-24 Bergen Crescent in Sale, Victoria, houses 80 beds for residents who are seeking a higher level of daily support and care. The facility is approved and certified by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing to provide aged care.
Our Northwood Park Independent Living Units are located at 51-53 Stead Street Sale, a 5-minute walk from Ashleigh House and The Manor. Construction on Northwood Park commenced in the 1980's and it now consists of 8 x 1 bedroom units, 16 x 2 bedroom units and 12 x 3 bedroom units. As units become available they are available on a lump sum ten-year contract or a shorter-term rental option.
Allowing residents to maintain their independence while enjoying a supportive community atmosphere with neighbours of a similar age.
