Specialised Engineering has seen many changes in the years since its formation in 1997. The focus in the early years was to develop the company slowly, to ensure that we were able to continue to service our clients and stay within the limitation of our resources and cash flow. Today we employ over 50 personnel and continue to service the mining industry in the same manner.

Our Management team has over 30 years' experience in investigating and solving problems within the mining industries including the many welding techniques associated with duplex stainless steels.
Paste fill is a method developed over the past 15 years simply to fill the mined out voids underground and to stabilise ground support, thus allowing for the extraction of high grade pillars that, in turn, increase the resource of the mine overall.
Specialised Engineering Services is one of the pioneers in the design and installation of paste fill piping underground and the installation of bore hole casings to allow the paste to be gravity fed to a given point underground.We have also designed a shotcrete barricade that can be pre-assembled and placed in the drive with an integrated tool carrier.
