I am a registered BAS Agent and Certified Bookkeeper with 35 years' experience in Business Management, Administration, Human Resources & Bookkeeping. I also hold a Diploma in Business, and a lot of life experience. My work experience is in the Banking, Trades and Retail sectors, and I was the Business Manager for a well known Business & Personal Insolvency Accounting Practice for many years, where I had regular contact with the ATO.
We are accredited BAS agents, members of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, and we have a team of Townsville based, experienced, efficient, accurate and trained bookkeepers. Boox - The Bookkeeping Experts provides bookkeeping services for businesses looking for accurate accounts. Our packages are varied and our services are extensive; including payroll and inventory through to accounts and management reporting.
What's the Difference? Firstly, not all Bookkeepers need to become BAS Agents! A Bookkeeper can also be a BAS Agent! However, if a business requires a contract Bookkeeper to provide a BAS service, they must be a registered BAS Agent. It is only a BAS Agent that can interact with the ATO and your obligations to the ATO, on your behalf, unless they are your employee.
