Absolutely disgusting company to deal with and should loose the contract for their area . I am an REC Electrician and never in my time have I had to deal with the rudest unorganised pack of people. I am currently doing a 3 phase main upgrade for a property in their area and it has been the biggest nightmare to organise they missed a step organising the truck appointment and have put their mistake on myself and the customer when we were never informed after submitting the EWR . I request these guys to loose the contract to this area and I hope they do I'm absolutely disgusted . UNITED ENERGY & CITIPOWER

I can't even count the number of times the power has gone out in the dandenong ranges in the past year. As soon as the wind picks up, or nothing at all, the power is out again, overnight or for days, who knows. Everyone on my street has lost thousands of dollars worth of groceries, and it's another thing entirely when it's winter. Freezing, with no flushing toilets, no water, no anything. It is hard to be patient when it happens so often. Sort it out.

Ausnet probably is the worst electricity service provider. Our power was cut since 10 am yesterday. Our electrician fixed the cable and request for inspection. But the contracted inspector turned up 4 hours late and also after dark with his wife in his car - appeared enjoyed family time as priority to work?
That results leaves us without power for the night.
This morning I booked electricity connection at 8 am. I were told the truck will turned up within 4 hours and Ausnet would charge $400 fee. No Thank you was saying.
By 3 pm called the customer service I was told we were the next case on

Sadly my street have now been without electricity for a week. We (including our neighbours) have contacted you numerous times about restoring our power and you have ignored our requests. You also make it impossible to actually get through to you on the phone. On your outage tracker page you are constantly delaying the timeframe which our power is expected to be restored and this really gives us a lack of hope. No one deserves to be treated like how you have treated us. Very disappointed with you.

Absolutely pathetic. A branch fell on power lines Friday 29/10/21. Two people from Downer (I think) came out, isolated power for street and said 'it won't be long'. Left the branch and the fallen wires on the ground and over a driveway posing a trip hazard and dangerous for kids as it was Halloween. On Sunday 2 people came out and finally put safety tape around area. Have tried to get through to Ausnet over the phone, all I get is a recorded message. Even tried the life support option, no one picking up. First they said it would be fixed at 8.30 pm on Friday. An hr later it was Sunday at midnight

We have been without power for 3 days now and told it will be out for another 3 to come.
Is the issue horribly mis handled funds or terrible disaster planning? Or maybe you don't pay your linesmen penalty rates and incentives to work during emergencies or long weekends?
Get your act together, already cost $200+ in fuel to just keep the fridge running. This total 6 day outage will cost more in fuel than our 3 month power bill.

All my freezer and fridge food had to be thrown out after 48 hrs without power due to a tree bringing down a power line . I am a pensioner and was advised by my power company to contact Ausnet about reimbursement.... After an hour waiting on the line I hung up ... Great way to get out of paying us !

Power out since 29/10/2021...currently evening on 03/11/2021, nil power still. Was told its been 'noted' and someone will be with us in a couple of days. I'm not quite sure how this happens in 2021. HOW, with the exorbitant amount we pay for energy in this country, can they justify outages on the scale we have them. Horrendous customer service, especially for the premium we pay

Power been out for 4 days so far due to storms, with another 3 expected due to SP Ausnet incompetence. Power was out for 5 days last storm and they said they would work hard and clear the trees above the lines. In the past 10 months they have sent 7 different crews out, and all they do is trim a tiny amount off as if they are making a bonsai tree. At no point have they cleared any tree that is in danger of falling on a powerline. They refuse to talk to any landowner about the issues with the current lines and continue to pay crew after crew to trim exactly the same trees that were trimmed the week

Just spoke to Annabelle on the phone after waiting over 12 hours for our hot water to be connected, after it being disconnected during the day yesterday, I am told the contractor already arrived overnight for our hot water to be connected and for the second time no one answered the door. On both occasions I was home and I have nevermissed a knock at the door. It is evident they did not knock loud enough. Regardless, they have my phone number yet I was told the contractors only have their personal phones so do not make phone calls. We do not have a doorbell in our rental so rely on a loud knock
