Hillier Engineering Services was established in 1988 by John and Ray Hillier who with their staff are very experienced, and highly efficient, in both CNC and Manual Machining, and Fabrication all in house.

Services
We offer CNC milling and turning, with some of our machines capable of doing both operations in the one setup. This enables us to be cost competitive and reduce delivery times. Although we offer a large capacity in both CNC turning and milling, we are also capable of producing small items in size. We cater for batch quantities from 1 off up to 1000 off at any one time.
Since the establishment of Hillier Engineering Services in 1988, manual machining in both milling and turning is a service we have always and will continue to offer. Our highly skilled personnel are proficient in manual machining to a high degree of quality and accuracy. This includes machining of bar stock, castings, forgings and fabrications in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials and plastics.
Our CNC wiring cutting machine is capable of cutting ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The accuracy of cutting is 0.003mm within its cutting operation. CNC wire cutting operations include internal keyways and splines with a hardness in excess of 65 HRC. This machine is capable of cutting complex shapes and has the ability to cut angles up to 30 degrees off vertical.
We have a temperature controlled laboratory, where all measuring and inspection is carried out at the ambient temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. Our measuring services include a co-ordinate measure machine that is also used for onsite measurements with accuracy of 0.005mm. We offer full inspection services, complete with reporting capabilities of measurements and surface finish and hardness.
