As an Apprentice working in Hobart, we had a blocked drain at a property that had about 3- 400 meters of elevation. The sewer was made of terracotta to which we had to locate the inspection opening underground at the bottom of the hill. Once we located it, it was at a depth of about a metre, the lid was made of concrete which I was asked to crack open.
I jumped down into the hole and I did have a moment where I thought - this might not work out as planned, but proceeded, being the young dutiful apprentice. I tapped the lid gently with a crowbar outside of the hole. Now with this height / head pressure it's about 4000kpa! for those who don't know how much this is it's like a BIG fire hose!

A common issue in the Pilbara region is non-compliant location of gas bottles in relation to their distance to electrical appliances such as air conditioners. If you are ever refused gas by your gas bottle supplier this is often the reason - and you would need a licensed Gas Fitting Plumber to relocate pipework.
Our Vac excavation unit can expose and identify underground power and communication services, easily and quickly saving you thousands if you were to hit one of these services. Not to mention how dangerous it can be if you're unlucky enough to clip H.V power. We are able to trench in and around where you can't gain access with a standard excavator or machine.
TWH Plumbing like to get involved in projects that are a little outside our normal every day scope. We have proudly donated all labour towards the construction of 'Mudworld' at Baynton West Primary School and are really proud of what was achieved, with our small group of volunteers.
