The licenced contractor Andrew Gould served a Plumbing Apprenticship in Wellington NSW and finished training as a Journeyman Plumber in Bourke NSW. Since 1985, I have been operating mainly as Silver City Plumbing in Broken Hill, across NSW and South Australia. Since 2021, I have also began business as Renopipe in the Albury district.
I now have quite a vast experience across a broad cross-section of the plumbing trade. My background as a high quality plumbing contractor now spans four decades. Services
This mainly involves but is not restricted to the locating and renovation of underground drains while causing the least disturbance possible to the surrounding infastructure and environment. This mainly involves installation and service of sewer treatment systems and various water filter and treatment systems.
Potholing is the exposing of underground services by non destructive methods to make them visible from above the ground. The services are usually, but not always, located first by means of electronic locators, or other equipment designed to see underground. Potholing is usually done so that other mechanical equipment can be safely used to excavate around them, without damaging them.
First we inspect the drain with a cctv drain camera to diagnose problems and recommend the best or most cost effective method of repair which is least disruptive to surrouning infrastructure and environment. There are other methods available elswhere, such as slip lining, pipe bursting, grouting or replacement by horizontal boring and for short distances using a pnuematic mole.
Renopipe has small high pressure water jetters for domestic drains and a large tandem trailer mounted jetter for clearing larger drains. Take a look at the animation to the right of this text to see a sewer full of roots being cleared by high pressure water jetter. You will see how effective the high pressure water jetters are.
Themostatic mixing valves, sometimes refered to by the acronym TMV, are used to control the temperature of hot water delivered, usually to sanitary outlets, at an exact temperature. This is to prevent scalding and burns to users such as young children or the elderly. Renopipe has many years experience installing and servicing thermostatic mixing valves.
