Orthopaedic dental treatment generally involves working with the development of the jaws to acgieve better dental well being. Orthodontic dental treatment generally involves working with the teeth to improve alignments of the teeth and the "bite".
Many parents are well aware of the specific milestones that our children should reach during the first eighteen months of life. However there are several important growth and development factors that must be evaluated in each child during the first decade of life. Surprisingly it is your child's dentist who becomes theguardian of normal facial growth and development.
What determines the growth of your child's face? The debate between supporters of the genetic hypothesis (inherited traits) and those in favor of environmental influences (i.e., mouth breathing) is both old and not entirely resolved. Inheritance is a basic and primary consideration for all facial growth.
Ideally we should breath through our nose 8-12 times/minute, with our tongue resting on our palate. We swallow 2000/day ideally our tongue resting on the roof of our mouth. In this way our upper jaw may develop to its full potential with enough room for our lower jaw and for all 32 teeth that nature has provided us.

Once you see Dr. Kenneth Lee and his team, you'll understand how come he is a well known and eminent dentist in Sydney.
He does his job efficiently and perfectly with advanced technologies. In addition, his team members are so friendly like him and make me relaxed during treatments.

I have been a client of Today’s Dental for more years than I can I remember. At 46 years, today I just had my braces (Rapid Smile) removed. Amazing in 4 months. Dr Theresa Lee and Dr Ken Lee are amazing and their staff at all clinics are great. Feels like a family, you aren’t a number. Highly recommend Today’s Dental.
