Disappointed at the service. The food was really good (thanks chefs) but not sure what happened with our wait staff. He showed no enthusiasm or seemed to care about quality of service (no how’s it going, welcome, recommendations). We weren’t rude or anything and tried to smile and engage. We got better service from a random cafe the next morning. We went Friday 9 pm seated in the farthest room, walk straight from the entrance past the front desk.

Very underwhelming from start to finish.
Expected the service to be exceptional but the first thing the waiter said was you need to be out of here at X time, no introduction or anything. Then I asked if our order would be enough for 3 people which he said it would be but then 30 seconds later tried to upsell us more food saying we didn't order enough entrees?
Whatever as long as the food is good right? Spend 150 on a tomahawk steak medium rare as per their recommendation and it was way too rare, so chewy with lots of silver skin and not rendered fat. The sides were average and couldn't save the

One of Brisbane's finest top restaurants. Food was amazing, some of the best steak in Brisbane. Highly recommend their set menus for good value, although expect to take some leftovers home unless you have a very big stomach. The BBQ ribs are to die for. Excellent friendly staff service from the wait staff and chefs.

If you’re wanting to enjoy a delicious steak with all the trimmings Black Hide is definitely on everyone’s list in Brisbane for a reason. Food & service was absolutely spot on with sharing a heap of sides for entree (don’t miss the BBQ Beef Short Ribs) and then onto the main event, I chose a Wagyu Sirloin cooked to perfection at medium rare washed down with a nice selection of wines. Definitely worth a visit.
