Stunningly beautiful accomodation! From the outside of the building to the lovely furnished rooms we were very impressed. The pool was a hit with the kids, and was very relaxing to sit by. The history of this place is interesting, and our hosts Cath & Craig were very accommodating. The Imperial should definitely be on your list to visit!

Our stay at the Imperial was outstanding. The rooms were immaculate (with ironed sheets!) and the staff were lovely, which added that extra special country feel. Close to the Main Street and a beautiful old building. The gardens were stunning and it was the softest grass I have ever walked on! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in broken hill. We will be back again!!

There is nothing fine about this accommodation. The phrase "cheap and easy" comes to mind because everything is done to spare effort or expense for the owner. I did not feel welcome. And it certainly didn't feel like "home away from home".
Yes it's a nice old building but that's it. Our room was not well laid out and was a mixture of modern reproduction furniture and horrible nicknacks of the type seen in many shops in Argent Street. Everywhere else in the building was a gloomy feeling of tiredeness; thin carpets, dim fluorescent coil lights (other than the spotlights glaring in your eyes at night

What a charming place this is, to spend a few days including NYE! The room we had was clean, cool, comfy and quiet, just perfect for relaxing even on a sweltering 40+ weather. Breakfast on the balcony was a treat and the privacy of the pool area was fantastic! Thanks to our hosts Cath and Craig - great job to you both!
