We are a family orientated dental surgery with a focus on all aspects of General and Cosmetic dentistry from porcelain veneers, quality teeth whitening and inlays to oral surgery and implant dentistry. We have a strong focus on prevention and Dr Mendelsohn personally performs dental examinations and cleaning for all his patients.

Major dental procedures; for example root canal, crowns and dentures, benefit rebates will vary depending on your level of cover.

To reduce this financial burden on patients, Mendelsohn Dental on Royal has various payment options available to make putting your Oral health first. We are Preferred Providers with HBF, BUPA, Medibank, HCF, AHM and GMF, which means less out of pocket expense to you.
A thin layer of bacteria forms on tooth surfaces very soon after they are cleaned. If this is left too long the plaque becomes mineralised into hard calcified deposits called calculus (tartar or scale). While regular brushing and flossing will help get rid of plaque and prevent calculus, once there is calculus on your teeth it can be very difficult to remove it and brushing and flossing usually is not enough.

Not a good experience at all. I had a crown done earlier this week. I’ve had many crowns before so wasn’t expecting so much pain. I flinched ( an involuntary reaction to pain whilst the drill was being used) and was told off. Three days later I am still unable to eat anything solid.
Not going back to this dentist ever!

I’m not usually one to leave a review, but I really do think Dr. Mendelsohn and every single one of his staff, who I have now met, deserve it! Calm, friendly, genuine vibes is what you get as soon as you step foot into the practice... and that’s all 4 appointments I’ve had so far! Highly recommend and thank you again to Saul and his team :)

Mendelsohn Dental is by far the best dental practice I have been to. The team are highly professional, kind, accomodating and easy to approach.
