Massage is perhaps one of the oldest healing traditions. Many cultures - including the Ancient Greeks, Egyptians, Chinese and Indians - were convinced of the therapeutic properties of massage and used it to treat a variety of ailments. Massage is the use of the hands to manipulate the soft tissue of the body to reduce muscle tension, maintain flexibility and improve circulation.
Massage is especially effective in breaking compensatory pain postures and patterns. For example, a tension headache is often self-sustaining because the pain makes the person clench the affected muscles even harder, which, in turn, creates more pain. A thorough neck and shoulder massage can reduce muscle tension and break the pain cycle.

A surprising peaceful oasis on Gympie Rd that has the best message service in Brisbane! I absolutely loved my message that helped relieve a lot of stress and tension that I had in my back. The staff were wonderful and friendly and even gave my young daughter a free foot bath and chocolates. The atmosphere was warm and inviting followed by a lovely green tea with chocolates. I would highly recommend Body Benefit Thai Message and Beauty to anyone wanting an authentic Thai message experience.

I asked hard treatment and did get one - good work with ashiatsu style of massage :-) On the other hand when I did have issues with my calf later the massage therapist made appropriate modification to the treatment - not too hard & not too light. I personally try to find sport massage also in the future (hard to find from Brisbane and much more expensive) but if you want e.g. Relaxation massage, Deep tissue massage, Thai style oil massage or Trigger point release this is the place to go.

I'm going to be honest here, I found a Groupon and probably wouldn't have heard about this place otherwise.
At first glance the spa seems like it's run out of the back of someone's house, though once you go inside it appears well appointed and comfortable. There are a number of massage beds separated by curtains, and the room overall is warm and typical of a Thai massage house.
The staff here are friendly, and the service was great though I got the feeling that there was a casual approach to handling client bookings which you don't find in larger establishments. My relaxation was frequently interrupted

Absolutely outstanding. I took my mother for her birthday and had the 'Pamper Package' for two. We were greeted with a share plate of fruit, melted chocolate and a glass of sparkling wine. We had a foot soak while we nibbled and then were taken into the double room for our massage and body treatments. The massage was the best I have had in Brisbane and the treatments really added another element to my total body relaxation. The room was kept a wonderful temperature and the atmosphere was warm and soothing. The massage therapists were engaging and wonderful to be around. I would recommend this to
