At Cherrygum Dental, we take time to educate children on the correct technique to use when brushing their teeth, floss, even when best to use mouthwash and when to have sugarfree chewing gum. Our approach is "Prevention is better than cure" and we teach our clients to focus on prevention to protect healthy and beautiful teeth.

It's important we monitor your childs jaw growth and tooth crowding in their mixed dentition, and we will refer them to an orthodontist for early treatment if required to create room for the larger adult teeth.Fissure sealants are an important preventative treatment we perform, protecting vulnerable areas of the back teeth.

1. Starting with the basics, we ask you to bring in your toothbrush and show us how you brush your teeth. We use a special red dye on the teeth so parent and child can see areas where a improvements are needed to ensure all areas are brushed adequately. 3. We show you how to and when to use mouthwash, the different types of mouthwash, and help you decide on a suitable one for your child.
At Cherrygum dental, we perform a wide range of treatments including simple fillings, crown and bridge treatments, root canal treatments, extractions, partial dentures, mouthguards and tooth whitenings. For our smaller fillings we use Composite resin (white fillings), medium fillings in back teeth we use porcelain or gold inlays, larger fillings (more than half the tooth)are likely to be full coverage with a crown.
Our Preventative Program is based on these two sayings. We do everything we can to assist our patients in preventing tooth decay and gum disease. Its important our patients know the best way to keep their teeth clean, restrict harmful foods and drinks in their diet, regularly visit (6 monthly for most patients) for an examination and clean, and protect their teeth with a mouthguard during contact sports.

The child friendly environment in the waiting room is fantastic. Perfect distraction for those nervous kiddos. Some computer games and toys for all ages. The wonderful smiling face photography that lines the hallway is beautiful. Dr Troy did a fantastic job of setting my nervous kids at ease, especially my youngest who tried so hard to be brave despite feeling incredibly nervous after a tooth injury 2 yrs ago. The preventative measures are a great way to go thanks Dr Troy! And the mouthguard choices are huge... one happy girl!

I highly recommend this place. My son had 4 cavities and previous dentistry recommended treatment in hospital under total anesthetic, because he wasn't very comfortable in the chair.
Dr Maryam from Cherrygum made him feel very comfortable and happy so we were able to do the treatment under local anesthetic on multiple visits. My son was always happy to go back. The whole team make us feel very welcome and was very helpful. Thank you!

Dr Maryam was AMAZING! Our two kids don’t like the dentist, especially our 6 year old son Eddie who has ASD. She was kind and explained everything she was going to do, she was gentle and gave them plenty of time to adjust and get comfortable. The kids LOVED the free arcade games and play area, the tv to watch and their gift bags and toys after the examination. Dr Maryam was also great with me haha! She has a fantastic bedside manner. Thank you so much! The kids can’t wait to come back!!

My kids have been coming to Cherry gum Dental for years and they love it more and more every time! Both Dentists are very professional and great with kids. Amy at reception welcomes you with a friendly and bright smile every visit. As a business owner myself, every business needs a receptionist like her she is a credit to the practice. This is the fourth visit and the first three were nice and professional. The environment was great for kids. The lady dentist was very friendly.
However, for this visit, issues start from booking. They have completely lost my registration form which I filled at first visit and didn't fill any form for visit 2 or 3 last year. I had to scan in the… invoice from last time to id myself with them and they still couldn't find my son's detail.
After the dentist checks my son's tooth found cavities in 2 spots, he said because of the depth they need to be an x-ray. My son felt uncomfortable with
