Richard Zande has been synonymous with expert lawyers in Ipswich from the early 1960's, when Mr Zande Snr, Richard's father, first set up the firm Richard Zande & Associates. Richard has continued the family legacy, continuing as the Principal of Richard Zande & Associates, remaining in the same building and practicing in a broad area of law including family, criminal, wills & estates, conveyancing, employment & mediation.

Services
Richard Zande & Associates Solicitors, established in the 60's, has become a known and trusted law firm in the Ipswich Area. We undertake work in all areas of Family Law including property settlements, children's matters, divorce, spousal maintenance, child support and financial agreements. Separation is a difficult time for anyone, whether it is mutual or if one person decided that that relationship needs to end.
Separation is a difficult time for anyone, whether it is mutual or if one person decides that the relationship needs to end. It is important to seek advice early on from a family lawyer to understand what the likely outcome would be and plan accordingly. In most family law matters it is often a requirement, to attempt alternative dispute resolution (or mediation).
If you have ever seen an episode of Law & Order you would have heard the phrase you have the right to remain silent. Whilst the show is based in the United States, here in Australia we advise that you always discuss the matter with a criminal lawyer (solicitor) prior to participating in an interview.
We don't know what is around the corner for us and that is why Estate Planning is so important. Making sure that you have the right documents in place and appointing people you trust is a vital aspect of estate planning. Your last will and testament is the document which appoints an executor (someone to act) to distribute your estate in accordance with your wishes outlined in the document.
Buying a house is a big commitment, not only in terms of the costs but you will also be responsible for anything that goes wrong, such as a burst water pipe, a broken door or even simply pest control. It is important that you know the ins and outs of the property you are buying to ensure there are no hidden nasties down the track.

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness
Made an enquiry to Richard Zante Family Lawyers for conveyancing on a house we bought last year. Very responsive and helpful, any issues with our contract were handled promptly and professionally, all went smoothly thanks to friendly, knowledgeable customer service provided by Tammy. Will definitely use again in the future.

My husband and I changed our wills once our children were grown. A month after doing this my husband had a massive heart attack and died. Apart from being shocked Richard and his staff were not only professional but full of compassion. They made the job of obtaining copies of the will very easy and supplied me with multiple copies, which was very helpful. Then after doing up my house and deciding to downsize I used Richard Zande to purchase my new home. Again they were professional and helpful, especially when having to chase up the daughter of the lady who used to live in the unit, to obtain signatures

I recently had the pleasure of having Richard Zande and Associates represent me through a harrowing Domestic Violence matter. This firm is very interested in your welfare. They care about you and your family, and do everything they can to make the outcome as favourable as possible within the hard constraints of the law. They consult with you every step of the way so you know what is going on. I was treated with respect and my family was treated with care and compassion. I highly recommend this firm during traumatic times. Thank you so much Richard Zande and Associates for making a horrible time

I recently sold my house and Richard Zande & Associates did all the Conveyancing work needed for the sale. Nothing was too much trouble, they were always friendly, helpful, professional and efficient. I would not hesitate in reccomending them to anybody needing a Solicitor, for any reason. I have also had my will drawn up by them and I would use them for any legal work I may need in the future.
