When people ask me why I am became a Remedial Massage Therapist it wasn't just because I loved getting massages (Ok it kinda was) but my 'aha moment' came when I experienced injury myself and sought remedial treatment. The difference I felt from my first few sessions had a much more profound effect than the usual 'feel good factor' of a regular Day spa massage.
I realised then and there that I wanted to be able assist people who were in pain to be able regain not only a sense of balance but thrive again through massage. There is nothing better than being able to connect with my clients, learning their stories and using my knowledge and skills as a remedial therapist to walk beside them in their healing journey.

A fusion of relaxation, deep tissue, shiatsu acupressure and reflexology, massage. This treatment blended with aromatherapy and energy balancing will help relieve muscle tightness and leave you with a deep sense of peace. This treatment is suitable for athletes, people in training or anyone with an active lifestyle.
I believe when you book an hour massage you should get your full hour of massage. I will work with you to negotiate a massage plan before the massage starts, so you get exactly what you want. Remember this is your massage and your time. I am a registered private health provider, so you are able to claim your private health insurance with any Remedial treatment booked, if your insurance covers remedial massage.
Only a 7 minute drive from the main street of Port Douglas, the tranquil home clinic, provides the opportunity to relax and reconnect with mind, body and spirit through massage. Massage is a powerful healing modality and is great for circulation, your immune system and general well being. However sometimes due to certain conditions, massage can be inappropriate.

I absolutely loved my treatment with Ki @ live & let massage. After experiencing tense muscles, fatigue, poor sleep and headaches from some intense weeks in the hospitality/tourism industry, and maybe a little too much late night dancing, I saw an opening on her calendar and thought I'd treat myself, and boy oh boy!!!! I swear I floated away from her heavenly smelling and luxuriously laid out massage haven - its out of town which meant I didn't have to walk into a jarringly busy street full of people, I could simply get home and keep my same level of zen.

Ki was phenomenal, she really understood my body and the attention it needed. No textbook stuff on how a massage is done but catered to my needs. Usually I don’t enjoy a massage as it can be painful. Ki is wonderful - Her massages provide lasting results and she truly takes time to get to know your body and cater each session to your needs. Having had many massages before, Ki's massages allow me to fully switch off (which I find extremely difficult to do). She is also just a really kind human being. Highly recommend.

My beautiful wife treated me to a remedial massage as I suffer a from a bad back every now and then. The treatment I received at Live and let massage was just what I needed. Ki was extremely professional and is at the top of her field. She listened to my concerns and was really thorough with making sure I felt at ease. Her studio is also really nice and clean. I felt great walking back to our villa at the end of the treatment along the beach. Plan it an hour or so just before sunset.

Had an incredible remedial massage with Ki. It was the best massage experience I have had in Port Douglas. Ki is extremely professional and experienced. Her rooms are very clean and stylish which creates the perfect serene ambience to allow you to drift off and relax.
Ki was very aware and considerate of my bad back issues often checking to see how I was feeling. A great massage and wonderful experience.

Honestly the best massage that I have EVER had (I live in Asia, so it’s a big statement)!!!!! The massage was the perfect balance between the relaxation I was craving and the proper treatment that I needed on my shoulders. I left feeling blissed out and in less pain. The home clinic backs onto gorgeous rain-forest too!!! Can’t wait to go back next time I am
