We've treated hundreds of patients in the Northern Queensland area since 2010 from our state-of-the-art dental practice in Townsville. Dr Joshua Pond attained his Bachelor of Dental Science degree with Honours from the University of Queensland in 2001. Following graduation, Dr Pond practiced in Bowen for three years and Townsville for another 3 years in both private and public health care prior to establishing All About Teeth.
Certified in laser dentistry and with a special interest in Orthodontics, Dr Pond is committed to continuing education by completing numerous further education programs in order to provide his patients with the latest innovations and techniques in dental care.

Preventative dentistry is the first line of defence for the oral health and hygiene of patients. It's important to look at the entire mouth and surrounding areas to make sure a person is healthy and there are no immediate problems. Preventative dentistry isn't just about maintaining your natural teeth; it's an important step in achieving general well being.
We aim to assist you in maintaining healthy gum tissue; after all, your gums are the supporting structures holding your teeth in place. At All About Teeth Townsville, we know daily brushing and flossing is not only important to avoid decay, but it's also important for your overall health. Problems can arise when you fail to floss or brush correctly.
A mouthguard is designed to help protect the teeth and mouth from trauma associated with a knock or blow during contact sport. If you are a parent or a coach it is important that the use of a mouthguard be encouraged for children and adults alike; they should be worn during both training sessions and competitive sport.

I'm 59 and have been to quite a few dentists. Josh and Lauren have my highest recommendation. I have gold crowns Josh made that have been rock solid for many years (from when he was at another practice - yes he's that good I followed him) and he's just done terrific work keeping a nearly dead tooth on life support. Lauren is a wonderful hygienist - thorough, precise and gentle with great explanations of everyday care. Atmosphere relaxed and friendly. If you're in Townsville I don't think you can do better.

I have been with All About Teeth since leaving high school so 10 years and have had nothing but friendly and professional service along with the best clean a dentist's could offer, they really do go the extra mile. I have recommended many others who say they won't ever go anywhere else for all there dental needs. Glad to have use in the Townsville 👌

I visited All About Teeth for the first time yesterday to get a 2nd opinion as i was unhappy after visiting another Townsville dentist. I was super impressed. Josh and his team are friendly and professional and Josh took the time to explain everything to me clearly and provide helpful suggestions. I will definitely be recommending them to friends.

Nice friendly customer service. Very welcoming. Every appointment has been great. Always love that clean teeth feeling afterwards and of course receiving my goodie bag at the end of my visit.
I like how you have access to brush and floss your teeth prior to your appointment, especially if you have an afternoon appointment.

Thanks to the team at All About Teeth.
They have been looking after my dental care for a few years now and I am more than satisfied with the service provided.
When it was necessary for major dental work last year I was given a number of options to consider, the end result being five more teeth giving me the ability to enjoy steak once more.
I choose to have bi-annual check ups to maintain good oral care and feel confident my teeth will remain in good condition for many years to come.

All about money...Horrible experience from the dental hygienist gouging me to being charged for "educating me on how to brush my teeth". I am a 35 year old that has been brushing for some time now! Where do they get off charging for information that is normally part of any consult...when have you gone to the doctor and been educated about your condition and then charged extra on top of the consult fee?
Should have reported to the Health Quality and Complaints Commission (HQCC) but this way everyone knows how they operate. Joke
