Arrive to a warm (socially distanced) welcome from Hazel and Nik, with some Mulberry Lodge treats to start your experience. Chill out in the Garden Retreat Suite. Take in the beautiful views out to the gardens and the vines beyond. Stroll around the two acres of gardens, check out the veggie beds, pick some fruit and find a shady spot to sit and relax.
The Garden Retreat Suite at Mulberry Lodge Country Retreat provides complete privacy with it's own private entrance from the garden, a luxurious en-suite bathroom, lounge area and stunning views over the garden. A delicious gourmet breakfast hamper is delivered to the Retreat Suite each morning with fresh fruit, juice, yogurt, granola, muesli bars and a savoury hot element.
Enjoy a 3 night Heli-Swag adventure stay in the McLaren Vale wine region. This adventure incudes a 2 night at Mulberry Lodge Country Retreat and a helicopter tour with a 1 night stay at your own private campsite high in the Willunga Hills. Enjoy the stunning sunset views over the Gulf St Vincent while a private chef cooks and serves dinner.

A quick few days away in the beautiful McLaren Vale wine region; couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Superb hosting from Hazel, wonderfully presented room and delightful, green and welcoming garden to relax in. A few mins drive to as many fantastic cellar doors as you could hope to visit, some great food experiences and only 10mins to the stunning Port Willunga beach. Planning our next visit now!

We had a fabulous stay at Mulberry Lodge as we always do when we stay there. Hazel and Nik are great hosts and the food is always delicious. Such a beautiful setting and the retreat is so clean and spacious. A perfect spot to sample McLaren Vale wineries and the electric bikes are a bonus when cycling the Shiraz Trail.

I recently stayed at Mulberry Lodge, having booked with Full wedding package - to stay there the night before my wedding with my 2 sisters and then on the wedding night with my new husband. When I arrived with my sisters, we were all blown away! It is beyond beautiful and far exceeded my expectations! Our host - Hazel had a bottle of bubbles and nibbles waiting for us on arrival, we had dinner booked locally for an hour later but we wished we were just staying there to enjoy the beautiful house. Hazel prepared an amazing breakfast for us the next day and a platter lunch which was just what we needed

Hazel has thought of everything to make your stay memorable - from the electric bikes, and home baked goodies to the amazing breakfasts and exceptionally informative guest app that told us everything we needed to know. This is a beautiful part of the world and our stay at Mulberry Lodge has ensured that we will return.

A lovely place to stay. Hazel made us most welcome. The retreat room is very well set up, with a wide selection of teas, coffees and treats. Breakfasts were very nice, enjoyed on the verandah in the garden. Having access to the bikes is great too. The guest's web page/app is very useful, with some great local referrals and discounts for some of the local wineries and restaurants. We hope to return.

We had a fabulous stay at the Mulberry Lodge! It was a perfect base for exploring the McLaren Vale wine region, particularly along the Shiraz Trail (which backs right onto the Lodge). Hazel was a wonderful host - the breakfast hamper each morning and the high tea we had were delicious, and every little detail has been thought of for the room. Highly recommend and hope to get back there again one day soon!
