Prior to your initial consultation you will be asked to complete a new patient information and medical history questionnaire. Following discussion and review of your information, we will undertake a comprehensive examination. This includes (but is not limited to) a soft tissue assessment, an examination of your jaw and a complete tooth charting and record.
Regular check-ups are the best way to maintain good oral health and to minimise the impact of cavities from tooth decay. Promoting the connection between the health of your teeth and your general health, our dentists offer services and guidance to assist you in maintaining a high level of oral care.
Composite or white fillings are non-metallic, bond well to the tooth surface and can be colour-matched to your teeth. These fillings look natural and are preferred where a filling may be visible when you smile. If a composite filling becomes chipped, it can be repaired simply by the application of additional composite material.
At Gateways Dental Centre in Cockburn we will examine your need for, or your pre-existing root canal to determine the right treatment option for you. We treat all our patients as family; with honesty, respect, compassion and care. The purpose of root canal treatment, also known as endodontics, is to save a tooth otherwise badly damaged by decay, disease or injury.

Cannot fault this place at all. Every single person from the receptionist to Dr. Andrew and his assistant were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Felt like I was in very capable hands and all the work done was smooth, comfortable and easy. Will definitely be making this place my regular family dentist!

Dr Andrew & his assistant Susan are both superb. They are both so attentive and forewarn you of everything they do. My injection was so gentle I couldn't even feel the needle! Their end results are superb to match. I can't recommend Dr Andrew highly enough, he does everything to make you feel at ease except give you hug at the end, which I hope was only being prevented by social distancing! ;o)

I was a pre-fluoride child and my teeth are ghastly, full of ancient faults and fillings! I recently shifted to Dr Andrew House after many hours spent in dentists' chairs. He has calmly presented options and fixed problems. One required an extraction and another a root canal treatment. I have found Andrew very professional and considerate and no longer have to psych myself up before making the next appointment.

Best dentist I have ever been to. I am a nervous patient and I have some unpleasant experiences with dentist before but am so happy I have found these guys. Caroline is a fantastic dentist and person. Great… service lovely friendly receptionist. Cannot say enough good things about them. My son had a tooth extraction done yesterday by Andrew House and he was amazing. My son was so nervous beforehand. Andrew was so friendly and made my son feel very comfortable and relaxed about the situation.
His assistant Suzanne was also fabulous. Very nurturing and kind.
