Think twice before engaging!
Am reluctant to write a negative review but felt compelled in this case.
Was prepared to try getting my company work done via this business after my long standing high quality accountant sold.
Sent a detailed file pack then followed up a week later as I hadn't received a response. When I queried for an update was advised my work wasn't a priority and would be delayed but when they did look at it could I respond quickly to any questions. Needless to say went elsewhere immediately.
Was uncomfortable with how the female owner of this business treated a new customer

Female owner is polite and respectful,
but insists on using best practice systems.
Monthly meetings to review implementation bottlenecks.
Since moving to them 3 years ago
Turnover up 50%
GP up 8%
Costs down 20%
Reduced balance sheet debt by 7 figures
Most importantly we know know exactly where we are heading.
If you are prepared to face the realities of your business in order to grow it then these people are worth interviewing.

If you are a small business starting out and need an accountant, based on our experience, my suggestion would be to look elsewhere unless your pockets are VERY deep.
Whilst we cannot fault the work or advice that Synergy provided to us when we engaged them for our start-up small business, the invoices we were charged we believe were excessive. We were charged more than double our budgeted amount for auditing and accounting (a budget reviewed by Synergy before we set-up).
Our complaint resulted in the reduction of one invoice, and when we made the decision to change accountants and auditors, Synergy
