Services
The team at Narre Warren Physio approaches your health with the greatest care. Our comprehensive assessment and treatment program takes into account your current capacity, lifestyle and sporting activities. We aim to keep treatments to a minimum and encourage patient education and self-help during rehabilitation.
While physiotherapy will help with neck and back pain, it is very important to learn to control and manage the problem yourself. Our physiotherapists will provide you with long-term self-management plans for a quicker recovery and prevention of similar injuries in the future. Headaches are frequently caused by joint or muscular dysfunction in the neck, or poor posture, stress or increased tension.
Whether you're a professional athlete or a weekend hiker, our expert physiotherapists are trained in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries. Acute sports injuries occur through sudden impact or awkward movement (eg muscle tear, sprained ankle). Chronic sports injuries develop over time, often due to continual use of the same joints or muscle groups.
Remedial massage focuses on the healing of knotted, tense or damaged muscles. Remedial massage can speed up and improve your recovery by removing damage cells and aligning scar tissue. This complements your own healing. Our massage can be modified to suit you, whether you prefer a soft gentle touch to relax sore muscles or a deep strong touch to loosen tight muscles.
The female body can face a complex array of muscular concerns throughout life. Whether you have prenatal or postnatal care needs or other muscular concerns, we provide effective solutions through assessment and expert treatment. Weakness or dysfunction of the pelvic floor may lead to prolapse or loss of bladder control.
