At Moura Motel, we have always provided good, old fashioned country hospitality and accommodation. We offer a range of rooms including 22 modern deluxe rooms and 16 standard rooms. Our accommodation styles includes our special rooms for families and disabled patrons as well as twin and queen rooms and a 2 bedrooom apartment.
Moura is located on the Dawson Highway, 184 kilometres west of Gladstone and 676 kilometres north/east of Brisbane. We are a part of the Banana Shire and while our town is not large, it boasts it's own airfield, swimming pool, schools and shops. Here at Moura Motel we know that travellers often have need of larger parking spaces, so, to cater for this we have extra large bays that are suitable for trailers, caravans and small trucks.

Moura Motel provides modern, quality accommodation for travellers and workers in the local Banana Shire area. Our family suite offers plenty of space and all the comforts of home, including well-equipped kitchen, lounge area and very comfortable Sleepmaker mattresses. All bathrooms are fitted with hair dryers and loads of hot water.
Q: Do you have a restaurant? A: We have a licensed dining room to cater for in-house guests, and advance notice is appreciated. Q: What is your Cancellation Policy? A: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to check in dateand time. Cancellations received less than 24 hours, the full amount for the first cancelled night will be charged.

A great place to stay! Staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. Manager even more so. Rooms are very well maintained and meals have been top notch. I can’t recommend this motel more highly. Very impressed! Thank you to staff and management.

The motel is professionally run and maintains high standards. Rooms are clean and management and staff are friendly. There is a review on here from a Brooke Brooke who has never stayed at the motel. She is an ex staff member that was dismissed for misconduct and aggressive behaviour. Staff that display antisocial tendencies will not be retained. The motel ensures guest satisfaction.

My opinion is based on my own belief with respect to regulatory policies and governing bodies, I have had adequate exposure to all areas of the business and furthermore believe management is very poor! To my knowledge and understanding I think under sanitised blankets replaced only after more than 6 weeks nil washing or dry cleaning is less than acceptable, again from my experience in professional kitchen and hospitality venues and environments there is unhygienic kitchen practices and eating while preparing food under a food licence and in a controlled kitchen environment, unprofessional and provocative

Service, service and service plus with a smile. No request was too difficult.
Brekky was easily sorted and with bonus upgrades, in the fridge awaiting. Queen room was like the details & photos, a real plus and rare today to see correctness in the promoted against some very fancy stretched pics at some sites. Well appointed and clean.
Except.....not one hotel/motel including here in last 7weeks & approx 25 places had quality reliable and strong WiFi.
Moura was about 50% passable.
BW had me fuming last night, Moura Motel had me very happy and gave me faith again in getting a good nights rest
