Many people are still unaware that Aurarum filament is made by us here in Melbourme. Yes that is correct - we make it locally and not just import and claim that we are Australian business and mislead the customers. We are proud Australian manufacturing business that produces a range 3d printer filament from various plastics.
PLA 3d printer filament is made out of vegetable derives raw materials - most commonly cornstartch. PLA is fully biodegradable under certain conditions. Normally it would not degrade during the normal day to day usage. PLA has a low shrinkage and low melt temperature.
These positive features come with slight downside of the lower glass transition temperature that is around 60C. Thus it is not advisable to leave in the direct sunlight or closed car for an extended period of times.In terms of durability PLA is more fragile than some of the other plastics such as ABS, ASA and others.

Aurarum ABS is an easy material to print with provided you have a heated bed and sealed chanber? A good starting point for a successful print is to have your hot end around 235degrees and your hot bed around 100 degrees. All AURARUM filaments are 100% Australian made right here in Melbourne, Victoria.

Trash company, even worse customer service. can't even reply to emails but are the first to jump on facebook to abuse you for having an opinion on the products. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!! Lucas is disgustingly horrible and needs to pull the pole outta his rear end and actually listen to the customers but refuses to. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

After we had spoken to Lukas about other printers and a few other questions Robyn and I thought about our findings and information we put the order in.
Robyn and I had purchased a CR-6SE through Auraum in Victoria and the delivery was flawless we had ordered the printer 1600hrs Tuesday and it was delivered Thursday just after lunch. Everything is working good except the "filament sensor" which i believe will be rectified real soon

So there filament is the best Australian made filament you can buy and especially their petg is probably the best I have ever used.
But they are let down by lackluster customer service. So of the ~ 10 orders I have done with them 9 have given me some great filament at a reasonable price and 1 has shown me how bad support can be.

Been using Aurarum for almost more than a year now. Great bulk spools of filament.
Getting a customer made large scale 3-D printer. Aurimas has been great in listening and understanding the specifications required for the printer.
They always reply back to emails and phone calls and assist with any issues I might face. Also great support.

I can't believe we haven't found these guys sooner. Have bought several parts and now more recently several printers (Creality CR-6 SE)! They are wonderful to deal with, gave great advice and were willing to help me pick the best product for my needs.
Will considering doing a bulk order for some custom coloured filament - keep up the service and looking forward to purchasing all our future 3D printer items from you!

I have contacted consumer affairs I payed $1600 for a resin printer that dose not work when I asked for a refund I got a cheaper one that was $850 and that’s it and this printer has spent more time in there work shop getting repaired then what I have used it for i have sent them multiple emails with no reply lots of unanswered phone calls 17 in one day Very disappointed

Defended seller on previous post as I have always had a good experience, fast replies, replacement filament sent out at no additional costs. Seller has changed and does not reply, ignores emails, had to go through PayPal to get a refund. I could even look past always getting “wet” petg and drying it myself, dodgy sunlu heater box that would never… get to temp and requires modifications (search on YouTube) but this seller has changed. Was happy supporting Australian business even though I was paying a few extra dollars but not worth it anymore. Will be buying all 3D printing items

•poor customer service experience. they would rather go down to the servo to get a coffee than to help you at the front desk •won't answer emails •takes days to get them to Post item and when they do they won't add Tracking number •if my machine is broken and still under warranty = it is your responsibility to fix and not try & charge me more $$$ •they really have NO idea or understanding about their product

Decent enough product but I will not be buying from here again after my experience today. I wanted to support an Australian made product but unfortunately not here.
I highly recommend finding another company to spend your money at until they change how they address customers.

Great local producer of filament, sells in bulk spools that have a bigger diameter but are wound well and a fantastic price. Definitely worth looking at going local instead of using imported brands. Spoke over the phone in order to make some adjustments and was given great service both there and replies via email.
Shipping was very fast and bulk is made to order! Really cool.
