A: It is always best to discuss this with your current home Insurer as policy coverage will differ from Insurer to Insurer. McMahon Builders have several Policies in place, therefore offering significant & sufficient cover ranging from Home Owner Warranty Insurance, Public Liability, Contractors all Risk Insurance.

Just slow, waiting 15 minutes to pay for something is just poor. Staff lovely, but they need to hire more or get through people quicker, especially paying for off shelf items.
Other thing is the pricing, if you go in wearing Snickers & work boots you’ll get one price, wearing jeans & trainers you’ll get a price quote double - which is nuts.

Was promised a delivery the day after I ordered my stuff in store. 4 days later nothing. Went on the morning of the 5th day. Was promised a delivery on the same day but nothing came today either. If you are not one of their regular customers they seem to just push you to the bottom of their priority list. Poor service. Really expected more from a reputable merchant like McMahons.

Appreciate the current Covid 19 situation. I just got my last item delivered following earlier phone call. Upgrading to 4 stars as Mcmahons got back to me and delivered before my long weekend so I am no longer

Great lads in here. Always very knowledgeable and able to suggest the best tool for the job. Great for advice on completing a project on a budget too.
Selection is great, with a vast warehouse out the back and large lumber section.
Highly recommended for trade or Do It yourself-er.
Only downfall is their open hours, as they close early enough. But if you are willing to go in early, before work, its fine.
