The staff at Walkerville Physiotherapy are dedicated to providing a comprehensive and expert service in the diagnosis and treatment of pain and injury. We are a personalised practice, providing hands-on management of musculo-skeletal problems and targeted treatment of pain. Our physiotherapists have a wide range of expertise and special interests.
This allows us to provide expert care in the treatment of headache/migraine, back and neck pain, sports injuries, joint pain, post-operative rehabilitation and aged care. Our physiotherapists use a hands-on (manual therapy) treatment approach which may include joint mobilisation, massage, stretching, neural mobilisation, and ultrasound.

Services
Andrew graduated from the University of Hertfordshire (UK) in 2003 and has worked in both public and private sectors. He has worked with elite to novice athletes from all sporting disciplines, including England u19 Cricket, Southampton Football Club (Premiership), and state Netball. His goal is simple: to provide all his clients with an expert service whilst they are under his care.
Programs can help reduce pain and improve efficiency of movement to improve function and address underlying potential causes of injury. Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Sessions are small group sessions (maximum of 4 participants) led by a physiotherapist and include Pilates-informed exercises and evidence based physiotherapy exercises.
Headache or Migraine affects more than two thirds of the population. Headache and Migraine can be incredibly debilitating, disturbing both quality and enjoyment of life and impacting on work productivity. There is a growing body of evidence supporting the belief that the pain of headache and migraine may be caused by problems in the upper part of the cervical spine (neck).
Massage provides a holistic treatment that can relieve muscle tightness and pain by stimulating blood supply, calming the peripheral nervous system, easing stiffness and tension, flushing lactic acid and toxins from muscles. Massage also aids in reducing anxiety and depression. Clients of all ages and walks of life can benefit from remedial massage.
Acupuncture and Dry Needling are now available at Walkerville Physiotherapy as a part of our physiotherapy treatment. Although they might seem similar, they work in different ways to relieve pain and other symptoms. Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine, sterile needles into acupoints in the body, chosen to help the specific condition that a patient presents with, such as pain, swelling or headaches.

I can’t rate Andrew and his team highly enough.
After a flare up of a prior injury left me unable to walk, stand or drive I was in desperate need of quality rehab.
I was referred to Walkerville Physiotherapy, where I met Andrew, who advised me in 4 Treatment sessions he would have me back to a functional capacity.
True to his word, after the 4 sessions, I was back to being able to function without aids or assistance and gained knowledge, confidence and advice on how to prevent reoccurrence.
Highly recommended 10/10

Alex is great! I went to see Alex for a bit of a back issue, I then agreed (reluctantly 😂) to try a few Pilates classes with her to try to fix the problem for good. 2 months in and at least 1 Pilates class a week and not only is my back better but my whole core strength has improved to the point it’s changed my body shape and posture. Have I been walking and standing the wrong way my whole life??!!
Great job Alex and I’ll see you next week for another class!

I walked into the clinic a week ago (actually I basically crawled in) due to extreme back pain. Andrew treated my back pain and after a few visits it has basically resolved. Andrew was thorough in his assessment and the care he provided. I definitely will be following up with Pilates at the clinic. Thank you for your care and your professionalism Andrew. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a Physio. Also would like to commend the reception staff for their care as well.
Thank you
Thank you

Walkerville Physiotherapy came to the rescue after I aggravated and old back injury with rather too much enthusiasm gardening at the first sight of Spring! They identified the issue and treated it appropriately with advice regarding ongoing care and specific exercises I should do at home. Within a couple of days the back pain was gone and with one final follow up appointment my back feels restored to normal. Thanks!
