Jess started her career working as a Solicitor Advocate in 2009 where she defended clients every day in the Magistrates and County Courts against charges brought by the police. Jess also worked with the Office of Public Prosecutions as a Solicitor where it was her role to prepare and prosecute complex criminal cases that went to trial.
Jess now runs her own firm where she practices exclusively in Criminal Law and Intervention Order matters. Jess appears daily as an advocate in the Magistrates' Court, Children's Court and County Court. Jess is approachable and friendly and would be pleased to give you a complimentary case review.

This depends on the type of offence, whether it is a serious example of that type of offence, whether you have any relevant prior convictions and whether you have other mitigating factors to put to the Court.
Driving offences in Victoria carry very serious mandatory penalties which can include fines, loss of licence, alcohol interlock devices and even jail. For those caught drink or drug driving or driving dangerously, there are mandatory licence disqualification periods. These cannot be reduced by a Magistrate.

When I got charged with driving while suspended I thought the worst and stressed at the reality of going to court. Called Jess and she was very easy to talk to and before I paid anything she gave me time and went through what I was facing and how best to deal with it. Easy to reach and always replied to txt and email. At court she was awesome and helped me get the lowest penalty no conviction or further loss of licence. Thankyou Jess you rock.
