Great hotel what I really liked about the hotels in the Mudgee district is that they seem to have a dress code no scruffy dress without having to impose it.
The food at the Oriental was amazing the staff were helpful they have door person at the entrance ensuring everyone abides to the covid regulations

Food was good for half of our group who received our food. The other half waited 30 mins until we followed up with the staff as we were a large group. Staff said they’ll “check up on it now” which meant they probably missed the order. Waited another 30’mins for the other half of our group to receive their food.
Great food! Not the best service.

Nice pub for dinner. Huge, plenty of space and a variety of seating options.
Service was quick and efficient. Food was plentiful and of a high standard.
Huge selection of beers on tap, you won't be disappointed.
Recommend.

We had dinner yesterday and we order 2 roast pork and pork ribs full rack.
The roast pork doesn’t even have taste and cool also the pork very hard to cut like rubber.
Please check your chef to cook properly.

Loved the Oriental Hotel. It was quite pleasant and the staff were helpful at the door when we realized we forgot our masks. So they gave us one each. The meal was very nice. It was our 11th Wedding Anniversary so we decided to go to the Oriental to celebrate and have dinner for two. Certainly reccomend The Oriental to my friends and family for sure. :)

Beautiful place. Plenty of inside/out dining options. Indoors is open planned... big windows at the front, so lots of fresh air flowing through.

First time visiting Mudgee- had fantastic time on wine tour meeting some great locals …two locals with us recommended the Oriental
Staff members so rude, poor customer service…we had to leave as a result of feeling very uncomfortable… ruined the whole day!

Good food, expensive prices. Gets busy. So book in advance.
Food came with nuts in it but nuts wasnt written on the menu for it, would ask before ordering if you prefer to avoid an item.

Very clean, very nice warm bed, great new heater/ ac... we were toasty - very grateful for the quality of bed, linen and heater... free breakfast and tea/ coffee stuff in a share kitchenette !! Wonderful for the budget conscious.
No wifi is a minus, in this day and age, it’s not unreasonable to expect it as a traveller regardless of cost....
Aside from that, superb pub below, lovely food and warm reception from staff. Oh, and it was very quiet. This is phenomenal.
