Weddings have changed a lot over the years but one thing that hasn't changed is having someone there to make it all legal. That is where I come in! Apart from the necessary legal parts, my job is to make you feel calm and relaxed (and a little bit excited too) about your ceremony content. This is about you as a couple and what you want to show to those gathered to witness your love.

I grew up in south-west Sydney, making the move to Tasmania in 2011 with my family for a lifestyle change. The natural beauty of this state and the warmth of the people that have welcomed us is such an inspiration. I married my husband in 2007 (that's us in the banner picture reaching for the heart!) and we have two wonderful children.
Some couples are shy about declaring their feelings in front of a big group of people. The Intimate Ceremony is aimed at couples wanting just themselves, the celebrant and their two witnesses present, in a registry-style wedding (location of your choice). All legal documentation filled out and lodged with the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
The right to marry in Australia will no longer be determined by sex or gender. It is someone authorised by the government to perform legally binding marriage ceremonies. They are not affiliated with a religious group. They help a couple to put together a ceremony for their wedding day that reflects them as a couple, their beliefs and their wants.

Marnie was the best celebrant we could have ever asked for! Super professional and heartfelt for our ceremony, yet still able to laugh and banter with us and our guests, everyone commented on how awesome she was. Marnie was understanding of our requests, and offered great advice when we weren't sure what words to use. She made the process of planning the ceremony simple and enjoyable, and seemed to know what would be just right for us. We would definitely recommend Marnie :)

We were delighted to have Marnie as our celebrant! We couldn't have asked for a more approachable, friendly and down-to-earth person to marry us. Thanks for being such an important part of our wedding Marnie, and for doing an amazing job!! Everything ran smoothly, all thanks to you :).
