This property was well overpriced for the experiences that are offered. Our room was not made up due to covid which was understandable but when paying $1000+ for two nights we expected some compensation and got none. The buffet both breakfast and dinner were underwhelming. The “poached eggs” were hard boiled and the pancakes were crunchy from sitting out for so long. Not to mention the disregard to refill the buffet and clear our plates after being told to leave the on our table we had multiple plates stacked up. in the dinner buffet there was a sweet and sour meat which was hard, strange for

Seriously disappointed in this hotel. Was our most expensive stay in our holiday and it was just average. The most disturbing thing was going to breakfast at 9 to come back to our room to find our bedroom door wide open. The guy was cleaning the room opposite ours but had opened ours with my handbag and personal items exposed to whomever walked by. Reported this to the front desk, since bag was found open but everything still there I will need to watch for any strange transactions. Food was just okay.
Wifi worked intermittently. TV stopped working for part of the night. Tap in shower sounded like

Stayed here for 4 nights during Christmas.
Staff are friendly and lovely. Location is great, only a short drive to the visitor centre & shuttle bus. The bar is a bit quiet, lack of vibe & energy. Restaurant service was good, food was yummy. There was a big group of 20 with many kids at the buffet and caused some more issues than expected but the buffet food seems good value for the price (compared to the restaurant).
The room is nice, comfortable & clean. We had the split level which offers a more expansive view than those facing the carpark/ shrubs.
One star taken off due to the noise from

Location brilliant. However the staff need to learn a few things about customer service. Encounters were often robotic and non empathetic. Had something go wrong with a meal and they didn’t know how to fix it for me. BUT make sure you see Jo at the massage place, she is incredibly knowledgeable and really nice way to end a stay there.

Excellent location of you want to visit cradle mountain. Rooms are comfortable but could use an update. I paid close to $400 for the night due to staying during Xmas peak season - no breakfast included. Worth a lot less in my opinion. Staff are friendly. Restaurant onsite is also a 4 star.

Fabulous place to stay, food is nice, staff really friendly. The only downside is the split level rooms (their best rooms) are on wooden floors and the walls are paper thin you will hear your neighbours talk and walk on the floor, we unfortunately had early rises (06:00ish) so woke up to stomping and talking every morning.
Suggest the tv being located to the lower level lounge.
Still one of the best places on offer in the mountain, though take the normal rooms

Hotel is in a convenient location (about 5 mins drive from the national park). Staff were helpful and kind. Foyer and the common areas are beautiful. Rooms are reasonable priced and comfortable. Toilet in the rooms are very old and outdated, could do with renovation.

Great location. Was out 2 times a day hiking. Peppers has better location. But twice the price...
A new front of house girl "Carrie" I think.. Is wonderful! Really good service.
They had a cool feature where you can give up your room cleaning for a $10 drink voucher. Love that idea as I don't have the need for my room to be cleaned everyday.
The bathrooms could do with a renovation. Would be better for them to look a little more modern at this price point.

Pros: Beautiful foyer with campfire, stable bed, reasonably priced.
Cons:
Reception was frequently on the phone or just absent, bathroom was seriously dated (floral tiles and fluorescent lighting?), and the restaurant was abysmal quality.
I hope they can improve on those issues, because it was otherwise a wonderful little stay.

We had a split level king room which was beautiful. Nice and big, beautiful new bathroom with a great rain shower. The bed was awesome, comfortable with what felt like a memory foam mattress.
Gorgeous outlook to the bush and wildlife. Restaurant was lovely with prices on par with quality of food. Would absolutely stay there again. Nice place and staff are super friendly.
