Our name comes from the expression used to encapsulate the eternal balancing act between the various aspects of grape and wine production. What you lose on the swings, you pick up on the roundabouts. No-one knows where the expression originally came from, but there does seem to be a consistent meaning across the many corners of the world.
Swings & Roundabouts is based in the northern end of the Margaret River wine region. The cellar door is situated on our vineyard located on Caves Road, Yallingup. Sourcing premium fruit from our own vineyard and contract grower's vineyards, we produce pure Margaret River styles and Western Australian blends.
The views over our vineyards provide a stunning backdrop for whatever the occasion, be it a birthday party, family reunion or a corporate get together. Our venue is suitable for both large cocktail style events and sit down dinners. Our verandah & gallery area's provide the perfect space for long table lunches or of course feel free to use our back lawn, you can hire a marquee or sit under the stars.
Featuring some of Australia's finest wineries, it's no surprise the Margaret River region and beautiful Yallingup are home to a number of stunning wedding venues. Rustic, romantic and relaxed. At Swings & Roundabouts, we offer bespoke, intimate weddings with an emphasis on quality, local produce, exceptional service and great wines.
Soak up the sunset on the Friday or Sunday session while enjoying drinks, food and DJ sets on one of the winery's timber swing decks overlooking the lawns of this rustic outdoor venue. Local Bumplings king Brendan Pang is in charge of the menu with canaps and flavourful bites throughout the night while drinks will celebrate Tattarang Spring gin, Gage Road beer and wine from Swings & Roundabouts.

Nice winery but I would not recommend coming here on a hot day.
The winery looks lovely and the food was delicious, but they are not equipped for hot weather at all. Inside has no air conditioning, and there are no fans, misters or anything else to help with the heat outside. One of the patios has a plastic roof that made the area feel like an oven.
I was also disappointed by the wine tasting experience. The staff member was essentially silent the whole time, but this could have been because of the heat situation as well.

I’d say this place is the best place in MR for families to visit. Lovely view, fantastic playgrounds and dog friendly was a bonus. It would be better to book in before you go as I couldn’t get a shady table when I went (not saying it’s their fault, was mine who didn’t book in advance). You might think there isn’t a lot of options for food but with covid resulting staff shortage I totally understand. I tried 3 pizzas and they were all tasty as well as the pumpkin salad. Even though there was a bit of wait time, we weren’t bored at all taking photos and playing at playgrounds. I will

We love this beautiful place. Fantastic wine, authentic Italian pizza ( it’s not meant to have lots of topping FYI) helpful staff, stunning setting, amazing for kids. Please be patient, everyone in the region is experiencing staff issues due to covid. Be patient and kind and sit back and enjoy the wine ❤️

Really enjoyed our time here. Heaps of cool seating areas both inside and outside depending on your preference, so it would be good to book based on which section you would prefer.
The menu is simple but the food is really good with two or three entrees and a bunch of pizza options. We were here in summer so there was also an ice cream cart available for dessert. There were only two beers on tap but a lot of wine options available.
Be sure to make a booking as lots of tables had been booked for two seatings when we were here (December school holidays).

I could not get a booking online but managed to get lovely swing seating for the family outside as a walk in. Great playground for the kids, staff are wonderful and super friendly. Food and wine was top notch! Would definitely love to visit when I head down south again. Thank you for the beautiful venue!!

Dog+kids friendly.
Great seats outside. Amazing that they let dogs indoor which is great for when weather is bad.
Wonderful playground on site and beautiful hills scenery.
I always saw this venue being recommended and now I know why - it's definitely the type of place where you would want to bring your out of town guests to wow them!
We were lucky to visit on a weekday where things were not hectic but we've tried going during school holidays and they said there would be at least 3 hours of wait for the pizza. Make sure to book and try to go early or late in the day!
I'm Italian and I really

A beautiful location for a wedding or a casual meal😍
Came here with a group of 6 and was blown away at the beauty of this location!
Food which consisted mainly of wood fired pizzas and a massive selection of wines; everyone was satisfied and had no complaints; service was friendly and food came out very quick!!!
Unfortunately I didn’t snap the menu so I couldn’t give exact names for the pizzas- captions included in photos.
A big dining area inside and outside, plus a another area outdoors with swinging chairs! (Swinging chairs is very in demand and is hard to find seats for larger groups

We went to this place as we saw it was popular, there were loads of car parked in the car park. It was popular indeed. We ordered the pizza and it was good, but it's on the pricey side. Compared to the size and the ingredients on the pizza.
It's Pet and family friendly and there are loads of outside area for you to sit on the grass.

After being away for a few weeks doing my best Leyland's Brothers impression on air planes both abroad and interstate, I organised a weekend away down to Margaret River with my girlfriend. It had been a few years since I'd headed down that way to do anything else aside from fishing and it was a nice surprise to see how much it'd had changed and grown.
We got into town in the early evening and was happy to find that Swings had availability for a booking. We had a little difficulty finding a car park with how busy it was in town but ended up getting a park less than 25 metres from

A morning spent with my friend Nd our kids at Injidup beach and on our way back to Smiths Beach made a last minute decision to call in for wood fired pizza and live music on the lawns here. So glad we did. Kids plAyed cricket and lounged in beanbags whilst we enjoyed the view, company, and wine along with awesome pizzas.

Cute little winery in Margaret River. This came as a recommendation from a young hipster chef the night before so thought we would try this on our way down to Prevelly. Having such a sweet tooth, I immediately fell in love with their cane cut fortified wine - was a shame I only purchased the one bottle. Recommend for a drop in.

We had a great stop here on the way back to Perth after a wine tasting weekend in Margy. Loved it! There was live music, delicious wood-fired pizzas (Wednesday - Sunday) and decent wine. We grabbed a bite and sat out the back. Alas the weather was average, otherwise we would've sat in the gardens.
Wines: pretty good, not amazing.
