Service was friendly and warm and food was wonderful. Refined dining in a casual setting - highly recommended. Share plates come out as they are done so it’s not the traditional course meal. Would definitely return.

The venue and service here were great. However, for a shared eating experience I felt it was a bit lacking. It always baffles me when 3 pieces are served up to a table of 4! Plate up and price accordingly! The Waygu beef was sinewy and our least favourite, but the pork dish was excellent- just a shame only 3 pieces arrived making it tricky to divide up! Good food, lovely venue just a shame the shared experience was made awkward by the size/presentation.

Being surround by beautiful sculptures and paintings is the cherry on the top.

If you go here hungry, you will come out hungry. The food was great but the portions were small shares.
Don't get me wrong, tasty and classy environment, great service team complemented with great visual art, for art lovers but...you will leave hungry.

A great little gem of a restaurant. Service was outstanding, we had to sit outside because of our dog but they set up heaters specifically for us. The food is creative and tasty, very unique flavours that I haven’t encountered before - definitely worth a try. The mulled wine was fantastic, as were the rest of the drinks. If you’re in the area then I thoroughly recommend coming here for dinner! Be sure to book in advance.

Last weekend I celebrated my birthday at Studio Bistro with 21 guests, both family and friends. I cannot recommend this beautiful restaurant highly enough. We all loved the wonderful cuisine. It was original, refreshing, plentiful and so tasteful. The staff, especially Steve, saw to every request and not only made us all feel special but also as relaxed as if we were at home. It is a beautiful restaurant with wonderful surroundings. The gallery is just an added bonus. Thank you so much for an incredible day.

Came here after the recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. We were served by a lovely gentleman by the name of Steve. Excellent service, some of the finest wine we’ve tasted whilst down south. The food here is great for share plates and definitely worth the visit.

Excellent meal, crab cake was super crispy on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside the accompanying veg was perfect, pickled kohlrabi and avocado. Main of lamb rump with Celeriac puree and remoulade, with roast pumpkin and caramalised cauliflower were earthy and ideal partners. Dessert of ginger sponge honeycomb and pistachio ice cream, the lemon curd cut the sweetness beautifully. Cape Naturalist Shiraz and Stormflower Reisling were the spot on choices for wine.

Came here for lunch as part of a wine tour with Grape Escape.
The lunch is best shared, ordering a selection of small plates.
The food was excellent, as was the service.
Highly recommended.
